Halo 5 gun's and ideas

What would you guys think of a sentinel gun that would turn its beam sort of how the needle does it, BUT, it can simultaneously hit multiple targets at once while dividing the beams strength among the targets.

 

Also, what if the pulse grenade acted as a gravity well. It would pull people at a certain range toward the grenade making them an easier shot and possibly pulling them into the grenade itself. The weapon would need to be balanced by slightly weakening it.
