Resident Evil 6

I have only been a fan of resident Evil since Resident Evil 4, and i must say im surprised by the new action focused direction of RE. However, this isnt a bad thing, in fact it can be seen as a good change, bringing in a wider audience, while still keeping the game a survival horror with its scares.

And with 4 Quite large campaigns, it will keep you busy for HOURS with it's changing environments and GREAT characters.

(My Favourite is Chris Redfield Just so you know)

The weapon controls felt responsive to me through MOST the game, there were a few hiccups where id screw something up due to the close range of the Zombies, but it worked out in the end.

The new melee system can become a bother, trying to execute downed enemies. And it was a shame that it was so easy to kill zombies when they are close, i hated the old melee system, but this one is too easy, they need to find a middle ground and add a larger risk to taking this closer perspective.

The Characters are well written and dialogue is excellent, i loved the scenes with Leon in them, they felt quite real and the animation is beautiful in most area's.

It really felt as if they put that extra oomph into this RE with it's increased cinematic feel.

It's for these reasons i give the game an 8/10

8/10

It has a strong story and well rounded controls, with a few hiccups along the way, but nothing major
