  1. Welcome to halo reach; now the most skill lacking fps of any fps known to man. Now includes no bloom so you don't have to even try to aim right. And for all those who say there is no bloom in real life well, you're wrong. Bloom is caused by recoil or aka the "kick" of the gun and no one can hold a gun perfectly still. Now reach is ruined. Bloom has been in the past halos but it just wasn't noticable due to the fact that the crosshairs didn't expand. If the proceeds to become in every MM playlist then well consider me and many followers of me gone. Hello battlefield, buh by reach! Good day sir!
  2. This is what I've gathered from my experirence... Supply pads first, Turrets second(from most vulnerable to least vulnerable), reactor third, Hvy supply pads fourth, another reactor and/or field armory fifth, Unit building last(preferably the one that has your commander's super unit i.e. professor anders, build an airpad). UPGRADE UPGRADE UPGRADE!!!I have seen time and time again that players get carried away in scouting new bases and supplies rather than upgrading their turrets and/or units on defense. Always have a backup base that is exactly identical to your primary base.Best if located a good distance away from the enemy. Your turrets aren't jesus! just because you have fully upgraded turrets doesn't mean you can wander off in lala land thinking your base is fine.Keep a couple marine squads out there to warn of an incoming attack. Use the cobra's lockdown mode while accompanied by a wolverine to act as a mobile turret. You can do what I do and slowly expand a perimeter like this capturing everything as you go providing an offensive defense. When dealing with scarabs use a cryo-bomb to flank it/retreat or try to have a vulture take the brunt of its force while the rest of your units hit it in the back and if you don't have either, just continuously maneuver your units behind it. Remember that you have airstrikes so upgrade them as much as you can.It will pay off. Right before a building is destroyed, self destruct it so that you get some supplies back. If all else fails, (I know this sounds nooby but it seldom fails)Spam your super unit and use up all your population with it!I strongly advise you don't do this unless you are serious about winning or losing.Or unless you get matched up with someone you hate! But remember that everyone's there to have fun and being spammed is never fun, so play nice! Well these are all the tips I've gathered from playing halo wars. Hope I helped someone!
  3. I don't mind bloom but the AA's need to go.
  4. The ability to import your armor and current(purchased)armory items from halo reach. More waypoint exclusives. The ability to customize which weapon you spartan or elite holds in the armory/pre-game lobby. Example:Spartans hold DMR's and elites hold needle rifles in the armory and pre-game/post-game lobbies(in halo reach). What if I wanted that to be a rocket launcher or a shotty?Or mix things up a little and have him dual wield a combination of weapons!Covenant or human or maybe even...forerunner! Forerunner combat skin would be a nice limited/legendary/pre-order bonus. I just hope it is the way it was in H3 and does not affect the way the 'chief looks in the campaign.
  5. Vehicles:I am hoping that they change the warthog a bit(IF it is going to be in the game)by adding maybe a four-wheel drive mode that allows better traction and reduced risk of rollovers at the cost of speed(just to keep the game balanced ). I am also hoping that there will be new airborne vehicles. For instance, a fighter-jet type vehicle and a VTOL/support vehicle for both sides. Weapons:I hope that they keep the classic human and covenant weapons still available but have additional and new weapons as well. Customization/Personalization:I like the armory idea that halo:reach brought to us but it lacked several things I was hoping to see.The ability to customize your own helmets, chest, legs, etc. would make possibilities quite literally endless. In addition to my previous statement, The ability to choose which weapon the preview(where you can see yours and other people's spartan in the lobby)of your spartan has.Example; in halo:reach the preview always had you viewed as holding a DMR.What if I wanted my spartan to have a machine-gun turret? That would be nice. limited/legendary/pre-order edition content:I would say to have Forerunner combat skin pieces in the armory as a bonus for all editions in the "special" category.Any thing else is for 343 and gamestop to decide. Forging:Several different forge-based maps would do nicely. One in space with space related objects, one on and under a vast sea with water-related objects, an open field, a large mountain, a tropical island, and most of all, a blank city street like area where the streets were already laid-out but fully manipulable. The ability to spawn(and drive)civilian vehicles would be outright awesome for machinima and crazy custom games. Multiplayer:Bring back ranked and social playlists and make win/loss visible rather than kill/death.Also keep the "premium" type playlist where only people with DLC are allowed to play. Also I could care less for armor abilities and/or equipment if you can, do away with them please. Campaign:Keep it all canon and just as epic as the previous halos.Add lots of easter eggs as we all enjoy finding those... ...and most of all make it one hell of a game!!
