  1. Both Covenant and Prometheans were push-overs but I guess the most challenging were Prometheans. As for Didact... c'mon! He fought 100,000 plus years in countless wars, battles, and slaughters and was killed by a grenade designed by his people, psssfftt... wimp!

I like these polls Zebra especially the fact that you haven't added a poll to the topic but you have to actually post your opinions!! Stick with Halo, lol!

As I  watched the latest Destiny vidoc, Something caught my attention. Items or "loot" found throughout the Destiny universe appears to be classified by three unique "ratings" and a numerical value showing armor combat level rating and weapon level rating. These items will be available to EVERY character regardless of race or class you choose to play as which is great news knowing that items are not class or race specific.

    The breakdown is as follows...

"Common Items" - Common items will be easy-to-find items hidden randomly throughout the world of Destiny. These will be the items with the least amount of value.

*Note the background color of the description is green in color.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Superior Items" - Superior items will be items hidden a little deeper throughout the world of Destiny. This appears to be the middle ground of both value and effectiveness having slightly higher value than common items.

*Note the background color of the description is purple in color.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Exotic Items" - Exotic items will be items scarcely hidden throughout the world of Destiny. This appears to be the items of highest effectiveness having much higher value than Superior items.

*Note the background color of the description is gold in color.

Destiny is a "work in progress" and is currently in a "pre-alpha" stage of development. This is based off of currently revealed material and is subject to change, be modified or cut from the current Destiny build.

Weapons are placed in the world of Destiny for you to find while exploring the unknown areas of Earth and

other planets. Some will be common while others are what Bungie is calling "exotic". In a previous story, I brought you

"Red_Death", an exotic assault rifle with unrelenting power and a paint scheme to match it's name.

The next exotic weapon revealed and explored by Bungie is what they are calling "Gjallarhorn". This exotic rocket launcher has been seen in action during the PS4 E3 reveal and in Destiny's most recent Vidoc "Out Here In The Wild".

Bungie's Art Lead Tom Doyle explains,

“This is Hulk Hogan’s belt in weaponized form. This is the gilded weapon of a City Champion. It’s a very decorated Guardian weapon to say the least. Feared and revered, with no attempt to be stealthy, it loudly announces its presence with a howl.”

“The initial block model for Gjallarhorn was cool looking, but it was missing some detail that would make it shine in first person view. Mark just kept adding a wolf every day that he was working on the high resolution model.”

    gjallarhorn_detail_zps76fdf0ea.jpg

“This Rocket launcher has the highest WPG count of any Bungie weapon ever. WPG, of course, is the ‘Wolves Per Gun’ statistic. I thought this concept said a lot about the world we are making, mainly the mythic elements of its fiction.”

Gjallarhorn will be "buried silently in the rubble" awaiting it's next 'Master of Arms' to wield it. Will your senses be acute enough to locate it and if you do, will you have the strength "to tame it"?? :)

  5. 1.784 ?

    Perhaps January 7, 1984 (1/7/84)? A birthday of family member/his own?

    Important events on 1/7/1984 >>> http://www.dayinhistory.net/?m=January&d=7&y=1984&go=Go

The number is completely ridiculous and made me lol! BUT... if he wins ANY amount due to "poor customer service", think of all of the lawsuits that will come from this and how many companies will go bankrupt.

    Absurd... completely absurd.

  6. I would like to see a mix of both. 343 could have easily added the three islands to Forge World's high percentage of water. However, the lighting on Ravine seems more appealing (imo). ALL objects available from every canvas. :)

  7. I enjoyed Halo 3's multiplayer the most but played more of Reach's multiplayer. Beginning to show favoritism towards H4 forge and customs. Campaign is a toss-up between H3/CEA (not CE, prefer the updated graphics). Spartan Ops over Firefight.

I guess you could say I don't have ONE favorite but enjoy certain aspects or features from each. :)

While scouring the internet for new information on Destiny, I came across a few articles that just

might be of interest to you Destiny fans. The first is another few pieces of concept art revolving around

an "exotic weapon" that players can find while submersing themselves in the game. It touches on the ability

to "mod and repaint" weapons in-game.

The weapon is described by Bungie Art Lead, Tom Doyle as ... "This is our 'heavy metal' gun."

Tom also describes the weapon as...

“A savage, bandit weapon. It provides a look into the world outside the City. This new frontier is harsh and, at times, cruel,” Tom observes. “This is a weapon that was taken from a fallen Guardian. The new owner had it repainted and modded - the optics were even hacked with new graphics.”

    According to DJ at Bungie.net...

"The Red Death isn’t a rifle that will be wielded by everyone. This bloody piece of iron will not be given, it will be found. Exotics are the legendary weapons of yesterday, hand-crafted by our ancestors and left strewn about the system. Scoring one on a mission of utmost importance marks the end of one tale for this implement of destruction, and the beginning of another. Like every element of our game, this weapon of old tells a story about the world that created it."

I look forward to more exciting news and updates by Bungie!

  9. Really is a nice looking map. I admire the detail in the "pitstop" area. Have you noticed that the mongoose's have mud on the tires but it's a paved course?

Will download and give it a test drive, lol! :)

  10. Good, good. Now make it cheaper and I'm in.

I found this article on IGN that explains every U-turn made by M$ so far, maybe Adam you should take a look. Sorry if it's old news.

I actually learned that originally the Xbox One did NOT come with a headset. Seriously? The article is definitely worth checking out and as the author and Total_Mayh3m stated, "The end result of all these changes is that the Xbox One is now functionally almost identical to the PS4 in the most crucial ways...it's going to come down to the games, not the features of the hardware." :)
