I prefer to know when im going to die rather than take a random amount of damage and die.
I prefer CE's and Reach's system.

I've seen people combine game types under the 'insane' category...
Donut, thats actually very similar. I could probably do some forging and use the gametype from above. Thanks for the info.

Its pretty advanced, and I would do it, but I dont know how to.
My idea is it would be very similar to speed halo, except on a flat surface, scoring every time you reach the teleporter at the end that sends you back to the beginning. Zombies would spawn on an overhang on the sides where they cannot get downt to the humans with four frag grenades and limited ammo on a concussion rifle. Their goal is to knock the humans off of their mongeese (and yes, that is an acceptable form of the plural) and kill them before they reach the teleporter at the end and score. An armoring device like this (http://halo.xbox.com...e-Tutorial.aspx) could be set up to protect one or both people that ride on a mongoose. The humans would have assualt rifles with bottomless clip, or needlers with unlimited ammo. This way, if two of the humans share a mongoose, the spartan on back could shoot zombies for bonus points (Each pass through the teleporter would score 5 points, and kills on zombies would earn 1 point. If a zombie were to kill a human, it would be worth from 3 to 5 points, depending how easy it is.). Obstacles could and probably should be placed along the track to possibly cause mongoose rollovers and de-armorization. If possible, the last man standing should be teleported back to the beginning and given a stronger vehicle such as a warthog or revenant. He should also have significant overshields. If a player was to flip and eject from a vehicle, a teleporter should be put in place to transport them back to the beginning or into a kill ball or other place to kill them, therefore making them a zombie.
I know its complicated. It just came to me as a thought. If someone (anyone really) were to complete it, please include my gamertag (which is also my username) in the description.
Happy Forging,

i don't think the covenant vehicles will be added though. frank O'Conner said there would be no "Purple" in halo 4. if he was messing with us or there was a change of plans, this could be possible. i personally would like to see it.
During an interview with Frank O'Connor during the most recent halo 4 reveal, he said the covenant would be returning, but "completely overhauled". I'd like to see the ghost return

a health bar, not the halo 3 crap. i want to be able to go in to theater and know how close i was to killing someone

it would be helpful in multiplayer, say, if you accidentally damage a teammate and you want to apologize without a mic

Dominator is a COD fanboy.

there should be seperate spree medals for assassinations and beat downs
beat downs could be the ones suggested above by SixWaysToSunday
assassinations could be "knifing spree", then "ninja blade" and then maybe "lord of the sword"
just some ideas...........

What is your favorite vehicle in Halo: Reach?
Mine's the falcon.

the damage bleed bothers me the most..... no more grenade jumping
-
you guys should make a falcon
-
YES!! we need them! They are pure humiliation and are so satisfying! And besides, even though you played as chief in the halo 3 campaign, you didnt in multiplayer. You played as a seperate spartan (or elite). Knives are a must.

one of the biggest things that has started to bother me personally is the damage bleed. i often used alternative routes that required grenade jumps or concussion rifle shots to propel me farther. with the new update i can no longer do that. Also, it only takes four headshots to get a kill instead of five. And even though im not a fan of armor lock, I managed to get a headshot on someone using it. Thats taking the damage bleed too far. BACK OFF.

bigger maps. simple enough

ive seen how people critisize armor abilities, but MOST of them have a purpose
SPRINT
get around faster. escape death. return and win
ARMOR LOCK
i personally dont like it but its good for disabling vehicles. the emp effect should be removed
DROP SHIELD
good for healing yourself and providing distractions. it could be a bit stronger, but then it would be better without the restoritave effect
HOLOGRAM
supposeldy good for providing diversions or distractions. not very buyable. image should look more solid and turn where the caster looks
EVADE
great for getting around and faking some people out to get assassinations. somewhat difficult to control.
JET PACK
adds great manuverability to maps. thank god the noise gives it away,
ACTIVE CAMO
should last for shorter periods of time, but work better. a shorter run time should discourage camping.
i liked the idea of being able to change abilities to keep the gameplay fresh. some ideas for ones of my own are:
- an area of effect emp generator, which could disable vehicles without completely destroying them. that way, there would be less frustration dealing with people in armor lock while driving
- a health pack that could be carried around and used to heal teammates, but not fully. this would promote team play, and eliminate a reason to back off. this would have to be a one-and-done, and could not be used off of dead players
- maybe a smoke screen effect that could hide infantry and help during escapes. could also have a temporary jamming effect
just some ideas... DONT BE HATIN' ON ARMOR ABILITIES
- an area of effect emp generator, which could disable vehicles without completely destroying them. that way, there would be less frustration dealing with people in armor lock while driving
-
needle rifle, bc of the three shot supercombine, and because its full auto
-
customization is good.
i like the reach armor, but there should be more than was offered in reach

Personally i miss the days when there were scorpions on hemmorhage, where no one really knew what was going on, and it was just plain fun. If you are truly a halo fan, you appreciate the first form of the game. You appreciate the glitches. 343, i appreciate you are continuing the halo franchise, but reach wasnt any of your buisness to mess with. I have to give you credit for the defiant map pack, as well as the anniversary map pack, they were both beautiful and provided for great gameplay. But with the title update, the core soul of reach was destroyed. Also, when anniversary came out, there was no tribute to bungie, and i even couldn't find their name in the manual. Bungie invented halo, at least you can say thanks.

something that really dissapointed me was that when you switch back to the old graphics, the music and sound effects dont change as well. strike one, 343. anyways sabre did a great job overhauling the graphics, and the multiplayer maps are amazing. MAKE MORE FIREFIGHT MAPS!!!
-
I love the sound of showstopper, but nothing beats a stick from the grave!
-
they tried to do it in reach, but bungie didnt get all of the bugs worked out before they launched it. maybe 343 can do it.....

heres a case for you. i have a good friend that is banned from earning credits in competitive matchmaking for life, probably. he can still play matches, but he earns 1-2 credits per game. does anyone know how this might've happened?

ive seen quite often now that people are posting pictures of their spartan with a nice background and their name after they write a comment. does anyone have any tips on how to make them?
Shielding System: What do you want?
in Halo 4
Posted
they have not confimed it yet, and I know they showed the halo 4 first look trailer with a shielding system similar to 3's, but 343 listens and changes things to make the community happy
