  1. Forge and Flood in firefight would be awesome no?...that is all Oh, wait, and all the new items for multiplayer forge added to forgeworld with the update!
  2. when you realize that you missed 1:17 for your area so you stay up till 3:43 and comment on being addicted to Halo...BTW, it is 3:43 where i am
  3. Being someone who frequents the Halo: Reach File Browser I often find race map variants built within Forgeworld, Tempest, and many of the other, more unexpected, multiplayer maps. I playtest maps by beginner race builders like myself all the way up to the most impressive and well made maps. While I do get great enjoyment out of seeing what the community has to offer it saddens me to know that many of you do not get to enjoy all these great maps in a competitive form against other aspiring racers. I personally feel that there should be a playlist made specifically for different race gametypes and maps built by the community. The following will outline some of the games that i feel would be more popular among the community. All of these game types would likely work best with a twelve player limit. Basic Racing Course Racing: A basic, no-holds-bared race around the communities finest and smoothest raceways. banked turns and smooth jumps will mean that the player who can drive the bast line will take the win. Three to five laps depending on the length of the course or a seven minute overall race time would be ideal per track. Environmental Racing: Once again this would be a competitive, lap based, race style but with a minor difference from Course Racing. This difference would be that it would include a large amount of environmental track sections. these could include driving through the gulch or racing along the beach while still trying to get to the checkpoints first.Three to five laps depending on the length of the course or a seven minute overall race time would be ideal per track. Warthog Course and Warthog Environmental: These would be very similar to the basic versions mentioned about except that it would be done in warthogs with courses made specifically for warthogs. This could also be done f ghosts. Once again, three to five laps or seven minute overall per race for the ideal track. Banshee Racing: Relatively self explanatory, it would be a series of checkpoints that would need to be flown through in a banshee and could even have some obstacles to make it more challenging. Three to five laps or seven minute overall per race for the ideal track. Team Racing Team Mongoose: A gametype that would involve two people sharing a mongoose. One would focus on driving while the other made use of a weapon (sword, sniper, etc.) to impede the progress of the other teams. This could be done on any track that is suitable for the basic races as it would fallow the same objective: Finish First. Three to five laps or seven minute overall per race for the ideal track. Team Warthog: This would fallow the same idea as Team Mongoose except that it would involve teams of three and warthog capable tracks. Three to five laps or seven minute overall per race for the ideal track. Specialty Races Endurance: The Endurance gametype would feature large race tracks with much longer lap times. five minutes per lap time would be the average and there would normally be four laps. This game type could be set up for any of the vehicles available in race. Infection Race: Although I wish I could take credit for this idea I can't. This idea was that of whomever created the Hot Pursuit game variant. It would be a competition between the humans (each on a mongoose) and the infected (in hogs and the occasional falcon) through a variety of race course styles the would feature multiple paths and escapes for the humans to try while running from the bullets of the zombies. These are all the ideas I currently have for you but please do add any ideas you think would work well in a race playlist in the comments section. Another idea I recently had would be a competitive racing tournament similar to that held by the grifball league for while we do not have a playlist to provide us with racing fun. As for 343i, I hope that the people in charge of the multiplayer matchmaking updates will put these ideas into consideration for one of their next updates. Thank you for your time and have a nice day. Sincerely, Knight Lucky
