  1. Map created by: McJoeJoeJoe Associated Gametype: Carmageddon Player Count: 12 Map Download Gametype Download This is Carmageddon City, a variant of Crazy King of the Hill where players will fight for control of a random moving Hill in a city where the cars are imbued with unnatural powers. Whenever a player gets close enough to a vehicle, it will lose control and run amok, sometimes flying off in an undetermined direction or sometimes targeting the one that triggered it with moderate aggression. This basically a Halo 5 version of the popular GTA mod with a zone control objective added within it. Everyone has a moderate boost to speed and vitality as well as Corpsemaker and Void's Tear starts. Go crazy! Also, here is a little gameplay trailer/skit I made.
  2. Map Name: Green Hill Zone Map Creator: McJoeJoeJoe Associated Gametype: Sonic the Hedgehog Player Count: 8 This map was forged with the intent of it being an Aesthetic map testing the limits of the new forge, but it became a Race of sorts that is done entirely on foot. Therefore, I am unsure of how to classify it. Otherwise, the is the "Green Hill Zone" re-imagined from the Sonic the Hedgehog game series into Halo 5. AS would only be appropriate for a Sonic themed map, in traversing the course you can find different gimmicks including: High-ish Speed movement, shortcuts, Launch Springs, numerous platforming incursions, Launch Platforms, green hills and the famous Shuttle Loop. Since the "Race" is done entirely on foot, several things were added or modified so that it wouldn't be a breeze to run through. Knockback on the standard melee and the Spartan Charge ability were cranked up as high as possible to allow for some dirty play amongst competitors although these do of course cancel the sprint and slow you down. The player also spawns in with several grenades with increased knockback which do the same thing from a greater distance. The Smart-Link hover ability as well as the ground pound ability have been disabled but the Thruster Pack now has two uses per charge to help clear some gaps or readjust your movement. The Map is laced with Red Half Rings so the intended direction to be taken is clear, although deviation in some instances is encouraged. Where there is platforming, teleporters have been put in place so that it is possible to recover your work when you fall. The map ends in the Gold Ring Stronghold at the end of the course. This map supports 8 runners and will end the round when one of them enters the Ring. Thanks!
  3. Hey all! I'm back again with my most recently completed minigame called "No Man's Land." It started off with a whole bunch of great ideas but I cant always meet those expectations so it is a fairly simple map that didn't take a lot of time to forge. Gametype Download: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/fileshare/details/d83244a2-becd-44c6-b1b0-3784c2d8b824 Map Download: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/fileshare/details/29824840-efd5-4eca-bcc9-b9e6f915ccc6 The Spartans spawn with a sniper rifle and an energy sword, and the packages Dexterity and Resupply. You have no sensors but for the first few yards, anyone entering or leaving any trench will gain a waypoint over them as sort of an early warning system. Sometimes it is best to charge into the other trench from the start, as no one is paying a lot of attention to things going on across the way but there are mines hidden in between. As you can see above, this is a pretty basic map. On each side, there is a trench that is symmetrical to the one across. The cover to distance ratio is pretty generous but in some areas, you'll find decent lines of sight. If you're lucky, you can hop into cover right behind someone and assassinate them. There isn't much more to say about this map except that it was just me taking a break from a far greater project to come. I recommend a 6v6 for this map although it is equipped for a full lobby and it's in the Next Gen effect because default seemed too cheery for the concept. I should be back soon with a new super awesome minigame and this really is just a simple and fun icebreaking type of game so I guess let me know what you think about it and if I should keep it clogging up my file share.
  4. This Minigame is called "Incoming Splasers!" and was created because of my adoration for the Spartan Laser. Map Download: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/fileshare/details/6ef92c23-83c4-4a17-b4d1-f6b6934ebb52 Gametype Download: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/fileshare/details/04228219-8d2b-43ef-b29f-3affb717afc6 This map draws inspiration from the minigames "Duck Hunt" and Reach's "Border Patrol" but this utilizes a twist. A Spartan Laser. What most of you are probably thinking of is the obvious downside to this weapon: Slow firing rate, poor accuracy, four charges. But au contaire, thereis a solution. There exists a glitch where when an individual with an empty Laser steps into a Trait Zone with Bottomless Clip activated, said Laser will begin to fire in semi-rapid bursts. Indefinitely. So yeah it's a fun glitch that makes this gametype tons of fun. And now for a minor walkthrough. The single human with the Spartan Laser will start off in a long tunnel with four barricades set up. This is in part to allow the Flood to get onto the course and in part to empty the Laser. Your melee damage is 0% and you cannot jump so you are forced to use your Spartan Laser to bypass the barricades. That part is imperative. IF YOU GET ONTO THE BALCONY BEFORE YOU USE ALL OF YOUR AMMO, YOU WILL HAVE TO CHARGE THE LASER REPEATEDLY. Also, not getting past the barricades and using all for charges of the laser (i.e. missing the pallet for some reason) will get you stuck until the Flood come. I don't know how this could happen unless you were screwing around. The human will then be on the balcony area which overlooks most of the course. The course being: And there are 8 different criss-crossing pathways (with varying degrees of difficulty and protection) you can take to reach the balcony site. The Flood start out in Impact's big room and have the option to choose from either a Mongoose or a Ghost. All areas are accessible with both the Ghost and the Mongoose and all areas visible from the balcony are susceptible to Laser fire. Up to 16 people can play on this map and since the Flood have waypoints, you are going to need as many as possible to overwhelm the Laser Wielder. I recommend at least 9. You can see there that there is a one-way shield here to keep the human from retreating into the tunnel. If the human never leaves the tunnel in the first place, the Flood can access it from above by jumping on top of the tunnel through a second one-way shield. In testing this with other people, the greatest difficulty for the Last Man Standing is keeping up with all of the Flood. The course branches out in a total of 8 different pathways making it easy for the Human to be watching one part of the course while several Flood slip by on another portion. The greatest difficulty for the Flood is the unfrigginbelieveably high fire rate of the Splaser. Aside from that, you really just need to know how to operate a vehicle. So have fun on this crazy fun map and give feedback please.
  5. Walking Dead: Hershel's Farm Forged by McJoeJoeJoe Map Link: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/fileshare/details/c44e65e3-78ad-4a9b-8def-edd702f116cc Gametype: The Herd (Link) https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/fileshare/details/4ce05838-de0a-4653-be04-6265aaae23d3 This is Hershel's Farm from Season 2 of The Walking Dead. This is an aesthetic and a Flood map. I spent three days forging this map on Forge Island to be as close a replica to the actual farm from the hit show. The map is a free roam, Last Stand type map where the humans are unable to jump and must coordinate their efforts to stay alive. The "Walkers" (moving at 75% speed) actually move slower than the humans (moving at 90% speed plus sprint) do but their ability to lunge more than five map units make them a threat still. The gametype also makes the "Walkers" 500% more durable, but still weak to headshots. The Last Man Standing gets a significant damage boost that makes it very difficult to kill him in the end so the "Walkers "will have to overwhelm him with numbers. There is a lot of open space in this map aside from the three story home and the barn itself. The home has three stories with a porch on the ground level, a small balcony on the second story, and a large balcony equipped with a sniper at the top. The barn has two stories. The ground level where the "Walkers" will spawn initially, and the second level that has a sniper rifle and two energy swords. The Humans can reach the higher level of the barn using the ladders on the outside and inside, but the "Walkers" will only be able to get up by using the lunge ability. Since the "Walkers" spawn inside the barn occasionally, it is a dangerous place to try and hold out. The Humans will have a waypoint over them to make up for the slow speed of the "Walkers" and the openness of the map. I would recommend at least 10 players on this map up to however many you want. Three "Walkers" will spawn at the start of the game with Alpha flood benefits such as the same speed capabilities as the Humans. With the people I have played this map on, they really enjoyed the gameplay of it and also the ability to reminisce to their Walking Dead days. I really hope you all download this map. It's tons of fun. With genuine Abernathy, McJoeJoeJoe.
