  1. It's up to you to decide what to do. Make a guess based on what weapon you think they have.

It has nothing to do with the weapons, it's about how you as a player choose to engage using those weapons and how other people use their weapons.

Exactly, which is why its never your choice to attack an AR user. It was your choice to attack the player.

  2. That's what you get for using a long-range weapon. If you put yourself in a poistion where you will engage in CQC, you damn well better be able to kill the other guy with that weapon.

Well what are you supposed to do when you see someone on your radar? Run in the opposite direction to put distance between you and your opponent? What if he has a sniper rifle and he just takes advantage of the distance? Or what if he has a needler and just needles you to death? That's the thing, you can never know what he has. That's the only reason shotguns are good. Is that people don't know you have a shotgun.

  3. You're just not using your precision weapon right. If you go CQC against an AR with a precision weapon then no offense but that's pretty stupid. The AR's weakness is range. Use that effectively against an AR user, and go at long range. If you do that, he's gonna be helpless :)

You say that like this is a strategy game, where we can scout and know what everyone is using, where everyone is, and how good everything is. You can't know whose going to have an AR on your radar. You can't chose what weapon to fight against. You just find someone and hope your weapon (and your skills) is better than his for the situation.

  4. Im sorry, chalanges like the pulse grenade and plasma pistol mastery are unfair. Because they are such situational weapons. My advice? Just camp somewhere with a plamsa pistole. When you see someone coming, charge the plasma pistol and break their shields upon entering your area. Then quickly spam pulse grenades and hope it works.

  5. Halo 2 Anniversary is not needed or warranted.  Sure halo 2 was a great game and had the best MM of the franchise.  But let's look back at CEA.  There were many reasons why CEA used the Reach engine and became the game we got.  Halo 2 would be no exception.  Microsoft would not dare release a Halo 2 remake of any kind with a pure straight Halo 2 MM.  Doing so would fundamentally ruin any future Halo title, as many players would never migrate back to newer ones.

Second, why do we need one?  Can someone really list a well thought out explanation with detail, about how deserving and what features make Halo 2 sooooo great a title to remake?  We have a perfectly good PC version that almost looks 100% better than the console version.  It allows players to play custom content and you can host servers with it.  If anything, the PC version should be receiving updates and attention.  Nothing you put on a console can compare to the potential that was left with Halo2 PC.  Seriously, name 3 things about the console version that is better than the PC version.  And don't try to go the route of the Vista lock thing...it's a dead horse, and the same can be said for the console version....console only.

Reply to paragraph 1: Because as a previous poster said they would migrate to newer titles no matter what. According to your logic, almost nobody would have migrated from halo 2 to halo 3. Or Halo 3 to halo: REACH, if you argue because H3 and H2 are similiar.

Second. Because not everyone has a Windows Vista specifically for Halo 2. Especially since Vista is crap compared Windows 7.

  6. I like Cortana, but there's just no plausible way to bring her back. The Didact's ship was hit by a nuclear blast, then fell into Earth's atmosphere and (at least mostly) burned up. There is no possible way for her to survive.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks she should stay dead.

  7. Okay so here's my thing.. I'm really pleased with the Halo 4 multiplayer gameplay but I am super pissed off about the grenades.. Like wtf? They are COMPLETELY pointless. Literally they do damn near nothing unless you stick someone with a plasma and half the time they bounce off of whoever I throw them at. I'm severely displeased with this. This is the first Halo game where I have had an issue with grenades.. I don't know if the power of the grenade was taken down drastically or what but it gets on my damn nerves. Grenades are how I ******* fight and I can't even use them on Halo 4. Even with the "Explosives" support upgrade.. Does anyone know what the hell is going on here?

     What grenades do you use?

  8. My play style is aim for the head and mainly stay back while using the LR. The best combo I've found so far is to toss a pulse grenade at the opponents feet, thus immediately depleting their shield, and shooting them square in the face. That's the best combo with my load out for my LR. I have to use the ammo perk because no one in their right mind chooses to use this weapon, the extra grenade so that I can have 2 pulse grenades, and the magnum. The other perks and nonsense are all preference and CoD bull****, but for some reason people like that nonsense. As for playlists, as I stated above, my problem with the LR isn't long range, it's close range. Getting long range kills with it isn't very simple either due to a severe lack of stopping power, but 5 body shots, or 4 to the head, isn't too bad to knock out at a distance; however, it's just close range that bothers me to no end. Currently I've been playing a lot of action sack and playing lighting flag, where, for those of you whom haven't played yet, is one hit kill where everyone uses the LR. I'm on the last level of its mastery, but I just have 900 more kills to knock out :-b Regardless of that, my GT is EvenRatz23 if any of you gents would like to further look into this or hmu on some Halo 4, it would be greatly appreciated.

K, just making sure you don't rush top mid with the LR. The light rifle isn't built for maps like Haven, Adrift. Where there is alot of available cover in long-distance situations.  The LR is good on open maps that are easily nadable and flow quickly. Like Simplex, Lockout, and Complex. The last one isn;t easily nadable but, its so open that its good anyway.
