    Personally I feel that Final Boss were the best MLG team in any game series to exist, their constant streak of #1 placements smashed every record at the time.

     

    Just realised I had my top 3 mixed up. But yeah, I totally agree. The combo of the ogres was insane on its own, not to mention SS and Walshy.

    After writing up an advertisement of sorts for the Halo World Championships on various forums I actively use, I included a list of my favourite Halo players of all time and my favourite teams of all time.
     
    Of course both are subjective and differ game to game / era to era.
    But below is a list of my favourite players and teams to ever set foot into competitive Halo. Feel free to list your own!
     

    Top 10 Favourite Halo MLG Players (In terms of skill and achievements)

    This list differs from game to game, but I'll be ranking my overall favourite players based on their skill and achievements in their prime and Halo game of choice.
    10 - Heinz
    9 - Strongside
    8 - Ghostayame
    7 - Lunchbox
    6 - Snip3down
    5 - Roy
    4 - Pistola
    3 - Walshy
    2 - Ogre 1
    1 - Ogre 2

    Honourable Mentions: Victory X, FormaL, Karma, Saiyan, Neighbor, Tsquared, Ace, Optic Flamesword, Lethul, Naded, Ryanoob, Shockwav3

     

    Top 5 Favourite Halo MLG Teams

    This list differs from game to game, but I'll be ranking my overall favourite teams based on their skill, win% in their prime and Halo game of choice. Also, some players will obviously appear in more than one team and this list is based pretty much around my liking towards that team setup and how well they performed in tournaments.

  10. Big Project

    You may have heard of the big project, but I havve cancelled it. It's done.

     

    Here's what it was going to be:

     

    1. 343i CF Alliance

    2. Hall of Fame.

    3. Halo Fan Fictioin Forum Category.

    4. Supply Thread.

    5. 343i CF Forge Map

     

    I did complete #1, but I had Vitamin dispatch of that and I deleted the site.

    I am still doing #2, like it matters anyways it's a piece of trash and no one seems to care for it.

    Number 3 is exactly as the title entails.

    I can say what #4 was exactly, but it was going to do with these forums.

    And last #5, I was going to take a couple of really good forgers into Halo 4, and we were going to create a map for these forums. The map was going to be all game modes, and all team spawning.

     

    But I'd like to say,

     

     

    ¡THE BIG PROJECT IS CANCELLED!

     

    Except #2, we'll give that crap a try.

     

    Aw...

    The Hall of fame? Would love to see that.

    Grenade: Frag, plasma's are easy to dodge.

    Armor Ability: Jetpack

    Tactical Package: AA Efficiency

    Support Upgrade: Ammo

    Yep, sorry for the late reply, Dad had to upload some videos onto my laptop.

    Throughout the weekend, as a promotion, every account will have Xbox Live GOLD enabled. Not that big of a woop if you already have gold, but for those who have yet to renew or purchase it, It isn't too shabby. Also gives people a taste of GOLD if they haven't had a Gold account yet.

    Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Live Gold subscription service will be unlocked and open to all users in 15 selected countries.

     

    The countries included in the promotion are Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States.

     

    All users within these countries who own an Xbox will be able to use all customized entertainment and gaming features available through the service.

     

    The promotion runs from now through Sunday and includes access to services such as online multiplayer, Internet Explorer and the like. Apps that require outside subscriptions, like Netflix and Hulu Plus, will still require their associated ancillary subscriptions to function, but will otherwise be accessible.

    As part of the promotion, Xbox is making available a series of Halo 4 training boot-camps, giving gamers the chance to train with Australia's top players.

     

    Starting at 19:00 AEST tonight, gamers can choose to play train with:

     

    Camp 1: Sniper - with "Blaze ACL"

    Camp 2: Slayer - with "Hopey ACL"

    Camp 3: Support - with "Halvo ACL"

    Camp 4: Objective - with "Ogre 1 ACL"

     

    Simply send them a friend request.

     

    Also, visit Australian Cyber League for more events as such.
