  1. ADamnCivilian and I made this to say merry christmas to everyone! The tree has working lights, theres snow falling outside the window from the roof and a few other fun christmas surprises! Enjoy! And have a good holiday!
  2. DOWNLOAD Temper is 2v2 slayer and 3v3 objectives map based significantly on risk versus rewards and though there is lots of height variation between the different levels, not giving up your power position may result in the enemy recovering an extra clip of rockets. Recommended Gametypes: Power weapons: x2 x2 Pictures: Special thanks to the loads of tester who played this repeatedly after every little change that made the map what it is now. Feel free to ask about the map for any addition information such as design concepts, gameplay philosophies or anything. Thanks for taking a look. DOWNLOAD
  3. I see. I've definitely went out of my way to make the maps quite open in areas and lack of structures to add even more of a classic feel. Besides that, the amount of objects you can use in a modded map is very very small, If I were to have made smaller maps there would have been much more going on at least with the terrain. Another small factor is the lighting, while making my structural parts of the maps I tried to refrain from too many objects close to eachother because they all seem too blend when the lighting is broken. This all being said, I do agree with you, if i had the pieces to make more complex big team maps, i absolutely would have. The turbine, you aren't the only one who has said this to me. It may seem out of place because it had been seen in a different setting already and we are not used too it. Regardless it was just an idea for justified aesthetic cover. I'm glad you liked exceed even if it wasn't too impressive. I'm surprised how well it actually turned out seeing as it was an experiment to build a coag style map just to get used to using the mod and the new pieces. The vehicular are mainly supposed to stay on the ground floor and have trouble anywhere else so that player would have an advantage on the outskirts of the map. I do wish after play testing it a few times that I could have widened up the hog routes, it didn't seem like a problem when people were using them though. After completing the map I went back in and tried to build a urban building for each of the bases but it was too cluttered and I ended up running out of pieces shortly starting. I am over all pretty content with how they turned out personally. I do wish they were a bit more appealing to you, as I'm probably not going to be building anymore classic style btb maps but I feel enough people have enjoyed these to say it was worth releasing. Thanks for the long reply even considering most of the constructive parts of it is out of my control for these maps specifically.
  4. Thanks Lankey, I hope you have some fun on them. And thank you psycho duck. Whatre some of the problems you had with it? I'm limited on pieces but I will try and work them out better. Also, sorry, i want sure how to do link them though here is a link to my fileshare. http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/whos%20blaze/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameMap&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0
  5. Hey everyone. Today i'm bringing you guys some big team battle maps, Claxon and Exceed. Claxon. Built in a U shape the maps geometry lightly resembles sidewinder and it's halo 3 remake avalanche. An aesthetics influence you will see right away when entering the map is a similar turbine as we saw in zanzabar and last resort. Claxon supports 12 - 16 players and is set up for CTF, Oddball and Slayer. Exceed. Very reminiscent to classic base to base maps like blood gultch, coag and valhalla but compact making it better for player to player combat to go on while having all those awesome vehicular battles. The middle of the map hosts a forerunner structure on one side and a tighter rocky corridor on the other sorrounded by elivated paths. Exceed supports 12 - 16 players and is set up for CTF, Flood and Slayer.
  6. Thank you but Im sure all of your maps are fun in thier own ways too. so dont say that. Ive also been forging for a very long time and designing maps a long time befre that. It only gets better with more practice. And thank you as well. Id love to get a feature someday. They do a fine job at picking some wonderful maps. *fingers crossed*
  7. Artifice. 2v2/3v3 symmetrical map floating in the sky of Impact, set up for Infinity slayer, King of the hill, Oddball and CTF. Extra picture:
  8. Youre best bet is to build map with good fun gameplay then test the map over and over fixing any problems big or small and keep testing. This will show peopleyoure working hard on it and when yoi test it gets it out there as well. Then the ones who like it will show it to thier friends and so on. For the pictures. All you can do is wait really. Soon we will have fileshare im sure. I use my capture card to get mine. But its a pain honestly.
  9. Thanks guys. If you guys want to add me, just send me a message, I keep forgetting to add people. :/
  10. No problem. Note: Incentive won't be added in the map pack. My map with Mr.P Artifice is going to be replacing it. might make a new thread or edit this one. Depends.
  11. If you want to, go ahead and send me a friend request. If they still aren't on there looking that way i'll add you and give them to you. Haha. sorry for the trouble.
  12. I will definitely try and get you in on some testing. Thank you. That would be awesome. They don't do a lot of competitive maps but I figured I'd give it a shot. Most of the forgers I know are having trouble getting started but I more or less just jumped in conferrable so I believe these should be some of the better competitive forges out there. Hmm. They should be. All of these and maybe 3 or 4 of my other maps should be on there.
  13. GT: Whos Blaze I believe I'll be releasing these as a map pack so I'm throwing this post together. Hope you like what you see. Prodigy. 4-10 players Flood, Team and FFA Ball, KOTH, Slay. (FFA slay and 3v3 slay recommended) Asymmetrical map on ravine inspired by maps like longshore, hang 'em high and halo 4s complex with classic style weapon placements. Updates have been made since this version. Heres a video with jumps and spots. ! Incentive. 4-10 players Flood, Team, FFA and Multi-team Ball, KOTH and Slay. (3v3 slay, ball and king recommended) Symmetrical pelican refuel station (How original, huh? A space station. but this one has a pelican.) on impact inspired by maps like the pit, epitaph and elongation with classic weapon placement. More pics in spoiler Eviction. (Finished but not perfected) 6-12 players Flood, Team and FFA Ball, KOTH, and Slay. (Flood and 3v3-4v4 gamemodes recommended) Asymmetrical abandon facility on erosion inspired by urban maps like headlong and my own erasure using ordnance drops. I'm not only trying to submit this but to also find more testers with experience making maps. So let me know if you are interested.
