  1. To understand this I think we have to look back at the intro of Halo 4. We never discovered the identity of the man who was interrogating Halsey, and even though it seemed like he was asking about how to create new spartans(which he was) i had a thought that maybe he wanted to know Johns weaknesses so they could prepare to defeat him. Why would they want to do that? To use their new Spartans to eliminate John and show their strength. But ONI would need a reason to kill him right? This is probably unlikely, but what if Serin Osman sent Palmer to kill Halsey, knowing Lasky would try to protect because if you know someone as well as she knew him, you can predict their reactions to certain things. She knew Halsey would survive and try to get revenge in the UNSC which is where John begins to become unsure of his allegiances. This is first shown in Halo 4 when he defies Del Rios order to hand over Cortana, choosing his only friend over the law. Imagine a similar scenario in which John is surrounded by spartan IV's and has Halsey, his mother figure at gun point. I could definitely see John fighting against ONI and the IV's and it would also be interesting to see Lasky and some Spartans(IV's and hopefully blue team) go rogue with him based on trust. The quote that I keep thinking of is "You say that like soldiers and humanity are two different things. Soldiers aren't machines, we're just people." In case you didn't understand my really confusing writing(which I apologize for) I want to see Chief, Halsey, Lasky, Blue Team, and some Spartan IV's fight ONI

  2. Victory you are absolutely right. At first I thought you were talking about how the human society(minus the innies) seemed so peaceful, but you're right because regardless of whether they're a simple flu or an actual organism, they work together to achieve a goal without hesitation or confusion. It'd be great to see this thought explored more in future installments of the series. Great thought!

  3. There is still the possibility that the didact travels to the other arc and produces new halo rings and a new complete halo array to wipe out humanity as a last resort.

I could definitely seeing the final battle occur on the greater ark. Kind of finishing it where it all started(where the reclaimer trilogy started). And maybe chief will have to activate the Halo arrays to save the galaxy though that won't happen because of Reach's ending occurring in 2589. And the Janus key will definitely bring us some new toys for the rest of the trilogy.
  4. But, the games don't exactly follow the books. I'm talking in the game's story line not anything from the books.

The games do follow the books. The only game that doesn't is Reach and that's because it's contradictory to the story but aside from that all the other games follow the books. And they did use nukes during the war, they even constructed one that could destroy a planet.
  5. Incorrect. The original Promethean AI's were created out of the Promethean class of Forerunners. The Didact started using humans to create Promethean AI's because he felt that greater numbers would be a solution to the Flood and he simply didnt have enough of the Forerunners to volunteer for the process.

This is shown in one of the terminal videos from Halo 4.

Those were the first Prometheans and given how they were used to fight the flood I wouldn't be surprised if only human prometheans survived until 2558
  6.

    thats what i was thinking maybe before the diadect ship exploded she somehow did something last minute and saved herself somehow. if you think about it she is just a program/data like today you can just copy that and paste onto something else. well time will tell whats going to happen. But I believe she is not dead. I cant imagine halo 5 starting and master chief has a different AI -_-;

well he's not going to get her back in spartan ops so you're gonna have to watch that opening of a lonely chief...
  7. He's alive and transported. There was a slipspace portal under the composer powering it, and his armor is level 12 which I think is the highest level which I'm sure is rated for slip space travel. And he is immune pot being composed so there's a 100% chance he's alive.

  8. Correct. Basically just like 343 Guilty spark but put in a war vessel

You mean Chakas right? Cause 343 is a fragment of him, the monitor found in Primordium. And the Prometheans are made out of Humans, no forerunner, which is what the Librarian tells us. And we've never seen a Forerunner skull so we wouldn't know the difference even though that is a human skull.

  9. 1: You see 343 Guilty Spark moving through space at the end of Halo CE... Just have to watch the credits long enough. He is humming his little tune and going through space so we knew he was alive. The Cortana one is a fairly good point though.

2: While we barely got to know him as a character in Halo 4, I dont see that as a reason to keep him around. They could just as easily set up his demise as a premise for the Forerunners to return in force (they did go somewhere, just nobody is sure where) and their attempt at revenge upon humanity for killing him. In that way the character's development in Halo 4 just doesnt matter, only his death matters at that point. There are countless other ways they could go on from his death while still including him to some degree as a dead character.

3: I believe the Didact was unable to be composed in the first place... so I dont think that would have happend but who knows. Time does crazy things to physiology and his supposed immunity could be gone at the time he falls.

    1: Agreed

2: I've said this before, but the Didact has been a character in the Halo universe for 3 years now and is a huge part of it. While he may not seem like a menacing villan, he really is.

3: The Didact is immune to being composed, and his immunity couldn't just go away because it had to do with his appearance, which was altered while trying to find a cure for the flood.

  10. There's no way Cortana could be that Promethean A.I. And the light was blue because that was the color of the forerunners, the Didact was just kind of corrupted which explains his orange color. I also thinks that what you said about episode 8 has to do with Halseys research on Cortana because when she was talking to Jul she seemed confident in what she was saying. Maybe Cortana was copied by the Librarian and is still alive on Requiem, but I doubt Halsey knows

  11. not counting MC i just i one word, Johnson!

Reach was completly contradictory to all of the other games and novels. reach's story line was garbage! but the multiplayer was good. at any rate, six should not have been able to get cortant to pillar of autum because in the book fall of reach (which came out first)pillar of autum was in space not in the planets atmosphere. and the book also states that pillar of autum was built in space and its not even knowen if it could handle atmospheric pressure from entering a planets atmosphere. so six should not have been able to/ did not really make that sacrifice. sorry to pop your bubble but......

same as above in regards to six. he may not have existed according to the time line and ghost of onyx, also for reasons i stated above he did not really do that mission because pillar of autum as actually in space. it is best to think of reach as a alternate halo universe, and not actually part of the rest of the story line.

    nice way to be original!

I read the Fall of Reach and understand the contradiction, but I'm looking past that and talking about the story of Reach. Yes Fall of Reach is canon, but according to Halo Reach, Six is the reason Chief got to Halo, and it still makes sense even if its not canon.
  12. Anyone seen Halo 4 legendary ending? (Master Chief is becoming a forerunner!!!)

In Halo 5, it all starts with Master Chief aboard infinity and they find out M.C is a forerunner. While a Dr. is studying M.C Infinity is overun by Prometheans and M.C is captured by the Prometheans and is teleported somewhere. On Earth, scientests have uncovered a piece of Cortana that could bring her back but everything goes wrong and Cortana isn't A.I but a human now. You play as Cortana in spartan armour to go aboard Infinity and when you get aboard you find its teeming with flood. Cortana runs through the ship and goes through a slipspace portal and ends up on Forerunner home world which has been completely repopulated by the Forerunners. You meet M.C whos in Forerunner armour and is pretty much one of them now. Cortana kisses M.C which turns her back into an A.I and M.C back into a spartan. You and your A.I have a nice chat when Prometheans attack you. The forerunner homeworld is hit by the flood infected infinity and M.C meets the Didact again and instead of pushing the Didact into a orange portal they work together to fight the flood. Didact and M.C go through slipspace portal created by the Forerunner leader (before he dies). M.C and the Didact come out to find a welcoming party.

Halo 6: The Storm faction (Rouge Covennant) find earth at the same time as the Shang-Helis. Humans and Elites form a truce and destroy the storm faction. The Humans and Elites hear a familiar voice... the prophets have been brought back to life! While the Humans and Elites are engaged against the Covennant the flood find a way onto earth and start to spread viciously across it. M.C is put into a very smart missile and is fired at the Covennant mega cruiser which is in orbit with earth. M.C boards the cruiser and while he is aboard he mutates into a forerunner and goes on a rampage in Promethean commander armour. Earth is evacuated as the last cities are infected which turns Earth into a massive green ball of sludge. M.C kills all the prophets (again) but crash lands the cruiser into earth where he fights off tons of flood in still being in his Promethean form. Master Chief is getting pelted down by the flood while the Didact searches for ancient artifact on one of the halo arrays. Humanity gets a report that the famous Master Chief is dead. The Didact decides to activate the Halo array. The array is activated and all sentinal life in the universe is destroyed.

Master Chief isn't a forerunner, he's still human. So that seems to be a huge flaw in your story, but the general outline of the story is good.
  13. it showed what the spartans looked like when the covies attacked earth

Thats not what they looked like. They wore different armor at the time, and the armor in the prologue was the armor chief wearers during the campaign, which wasnt even developed at the time the prologue is taking place.
  14. That doesnt really make much sense. Why would a slipspace portal even be open at that time considering his ship/Composer was stationed over and attempting to compose Earth. There really would be no reason for a portal to be open. Did I miss something in the game where they said he fell into one or are you assuming?

Its said in the mission that a slip-space portal is powering the composer, and we see him fall into it.
