  1. If anyone was to read the last book of the forerunners series and Halo: Glasslands they would find out that:

    • Guilty Spark is actually a human from the period right before the forerunners fell.
    • Some original Spartans are still alive along with some spartan 4's (Kelly, Fred, Linda, Lucy, Naomi, Tom, and Ash)
    • Guilty Spark took over a human ship as his body while being interrogated.
    • Humans have gotten hold of a huge host of forerunner technology thanks to the dsyon sphere incident as well as a complying engineer to help them study the new tech
    • Guilty spark is now holding the crew of the ship hostage and is going to the librarian (he knows where she is) to try and restore his friends from millions of years, which are apparently hidden away in the human physic somewhere.

How do these affect Halo 4:

    • The presence of librarian proves that forerunners are still alive and kicking. And could appear in Halo 4 (edit: at the end of the new E3 video the diaducts symbol appears which suggests hes still around and could be the "ancient evil"though he was quite friendly with humans at one point)
    • The presence of chiefs old allies could affect him emotionally (which is what 343i wants) as he thought they where dead and long gone.
    • Since Guilty spark is around it shows that 343 is not adverse to bringing back a few old enemies and tying the new series back to the old.
    • New forerunner tech means new human weapons  (I know its confirmed already)

Please correct me if I'm off or you think I've missed something.

I like this info. The only problem that I have with it is that you said the other spartans with the spartan II's were the spartan IV's. I'm pretty sure you meant spartan III's. If not then that's ok. :) But that's what I thought too. Bringing back some old allies, or even Halsey for that matter would bring the emotional side of the Master Chief to light.

  2. So Ive been called here for my expertise knowledge of the Halo series so here it is. MC is more than likely floating twords a Shield World, this shield world cannot be as some of you may know the planet Onyx. As far as how he got his jet pack I do not know but I speculate that it may have come from a time when he may have gotten out of the cryo pod to do something and he got an EVA pack, it is currently the only thing that makes since. Any way theres my two cents have fun and discuss.

It'd be nice to be Onyx but it was destroyed. And as for the Master Chief's jet pack.... It's actually a thruster pack. The reason for it was because Cortana manipulated his suite while he was in cryostasis. That is why his suite looks different. :/
  3. Well, I think that that's an awesome storyline :) And while people are talking about the forerunners as well, maybe the Didact is inside the planet, kind of like Lucy in Halo Glasslands, and then he fixes Cortana or something.

  4. Well, first of all, the campain is only going to be a two player game... Unfortunately. And I know that this is a stupid suggestion, but maybe they will have the story go that Cortana can just step out and fire a gun or something. It'd be cool though. :/

Maybe at the end of Halo 4, Blue Team arrives at requiem to help John, but Frankie confirmed at comic con that blue team wouldn't be in the game, but that doesn't mean Halsey won't, and they could be in the ending.

That would be so awesome! I was thinking that maybe Halsey would appear in the game too :)
  5. The movie version of Halo has almost happened before -- Peter Jackson and Neill Blomkamp could tell you all about that -- but so far said project just hasn't panned out. Still, Frank O'Connor, the Master Chief of the Halo world, says the film will happen. Eventually.

O'Connor addressed the issue at the MI6 Conference in San Francisco last week during a session called "Extending Your Game Beyond the Package."

"We're going to make a movie when the time is right," he said. "We own the IP. If we want to make a movie, the scale of all the other stuff that we do changes dramatically. We make tens and tens of millions of dollars on ancillary stuff, toys, apparel, music and publishing. If we do a movie all of that will grow exponentially. We have some numbers if we do a movie, but it changes everything. It also changes our target and age demographic."

So there you have it. Not only is O'Connor certain that a Halomovie is going to happen at some point, but it makes absolute financial sense to do one too. What, you think Microsoft is in this for the fun of it?

Haha! Ok! Ya, I heard that the movie district 9 was made instead of Halo, but the part about them making a movie satisfys my wondering :)
