  1. I completely agree with RedStarRocket91. This is a completely stupid and useless idea. No offence.

Now I know by the time your done reading this, your gonna go and try to reply with something like "bUt ItS a vIDeO GaME!"

But then that's where your wrong again. You see, Halo is a very important and emotional game to many people

If 343i, decided to put something stupid like animal allies in the game, then a lot of people would be pissed.

I mean hey, we could probably all cope with it. But 343i would still end up hearing a lot of **** about it.

Bottom line. That was a dumb idea, that will never happen in Halo. Once again no offence, just being real with you

im not saying hes wrong, im just saying that hes going a little too far and saying things that are irelevant.

when i say "but its avideo game", im not saying that it doesnt matter, im saying that 343 doesnt have to do realistic things. since its a video game they can make up whatever they want for it. im sorry for the misunderstanding.

  2. So according to the rumors that i've heard on the XBOX 720, it is scheduled to be sold in the beginning of 2013.(one source is AD).

Well, has no one thought of the fact that all the big video games, like Halo, CoD, Battlefield, and Gears of War, usually come out in October or November? Well, according to this information, that would mean that when the Xbox 720 came out, no one would be playing any of those games if they got the XBOX 720, or they wouldn't play the XBOX 720 because they wan't to play the video games. Also, the Madden and NBA2k games come out in this time as well.

This could end of being a MAJOR problem for all of these companies, because no one will be buying dlc for the games, and microsoft will have no games to sell for the 720.

The only solution (that i can think of as of now) would be to make a disc compatible with both the XBOX 360, and the XBOX 720. But, we all know this would be both impossible, and expensive for the game makers and game buyers. The game would cost over twice what its supposed to cost normally, plus, why would microsoft share there secret info on the 720 with all these game companies, before the system came out? That would just give someone else the oppurtunity to make their own game system.

Thank you for reading and hopefully microsoft will find a solutiont ot this.

  3. i was serious, but your acting like your goiong to win a nobel prize for giving me this answer. I just think you made it seem like you were giving yourself an image of being better then everyone when you said this. Also, this is a VIDEO GAME, so not everything from real life is in this game and not everything in the game is in real life. Do you click a button and start sprinting for 5 seconds, and then wait for it to recharge so you can sprint in real life? Yeah, i thought so.

  4. I would like to see a couple new vehicles. I don't see water vehicles working because maps in Halo aren't generally based around bodies of water but I could see that to be pretty interesting, as for a new type of warthog I'm all for that

well your right that the maps aren't made around bodies of water, but if in Halo 4 they have a map similar to Forge World, then there is water all over the place. Then you could have somesort of btb map based on water vehicles. But technically, this won't work because in forge world, the water doesn't really exist its just a death barrier, you couldn't do anything in it like swimming

  5. Well, for starters you can't combine two different species together unless they have a VERY small difference in their numbers of chromosomes, two is maximum. That's why you can get half-breeds like mules but they're sterile, plus the parental DNA is similar enough that it still produces a viable set of genetic instructions. Any mutation away from an established and viable code is likely to do more harm than good: malfunctioning DNA is what causes cancer, after all, and if there isn't a working code the original cell won't have instructions it can follow and so won't reproduce.

If you splice another animal's DNA into human DNA at best it won't do anything because its own instructions will be so different from our own, and at worst it will do serious harm, causing cancer or shutdown of vital bodily functions. It's also no use trying to build DNA strings from scratch because any amount of DNA capable of forming even the most rudimentary complex organism would take literally years to assemble, and there's no way to test it as you go along. Plus, most DNA in our bodies does different things elsewhere. Melanin is a pigment made by DNA instructions which colours your skin but also your hair. You don't get people with blonde or ginger skin, so there's no guarantee anything you spliced into the human genetic code would even have the same effect as it did originally.

In response to your second question, there's evidence that the Romans actually did have a basic idea of internal combustion. Emperor Nero, for example, envisioned the use of steam-powered canal boats to help trade between the Ionian and the Aegean, and this plan was only dropped because he ran out of money, went mad and then decided he was going to build an army of prostitutes and musicians to go and sing to one of him enemies and make him feel so guilty that he would surrender.

Anyway, we now know enough about genetics to know this is all probably impossible, and even if it weren't there just wouldn't be any benefit from it that couldn't be achieved much more easily and cheaply with simple technology. If you want claws, use a knife, if you want to be super-intelligent, use omega 3 tablets and read a lot of books, if you want to be super-strong, work out a lot or use synthetic muscles in place of your own.

Also, you admit yourself that you're making a lot up without really understanding, and besides, none of this has ever even been remotely hinted at as being part of the Halo canon, so the whole point is moot.

ok know-it-all, first of all halo isnt real! they can do whetever the hell they want in the series, nobodies stopping them. secondly the romans thing was just an example, would you be happier if i said homo habilis didn't know about cars? i don't know why you are taking this so seriously
  6. it could be like the human/animal engineered people that were sent to another planet in a space ship in the year 2000 (totally bull****ing this), when a evil scientist thought that he could make the world a better place (SOMEHOW). also, how do you know its impossible (im talking to you here, red star rocket)? Do you think the Romans knew cars were possible?
