Ok, I had an Idea for a new Lobby called Great Journey where you can play as a Covenant and connect with people on Xbox Live as you explore worlds by boarding Covenant Ships, attack UNSC Ships and Ground Forces and Progress to get Missions, Weapons, Armor, and Equipment. Go each mission as a Lone Wolf or invite 4 Friends to assist and share in the Exp. and Profits, even participate in User Challenges, or make your own, you will start out as an Elite Minor with a Plasma Pistol as you can progress from Rank 1 up to Rank 125! Gain new Armor, make Classes, anything! It is a fully customizable Experience as you Uphold the Covenant. This takes place before the end of the Covenant War, and before the Rebellion encounter from the standardized Marine to Spartan III's. The Story is yours!
What do you guys think? A cool lobby idea? Give Feedback!

I was asking a legitimate question because i was confused not complaining. Second I'm not referring to playing off line, I'm referring to FORGE and CUSTOM. Third Elites Have been playable since Halo 2. So players can mark that as their identity yes. Fourth you should show a little understanding to how other people feel. Considering how many people are huge fans of Elites. Like he said, how would you feel if Spartans were removed?
Wow also they weren't allies in Reach and we could play as them..

ummmm. why would anyone do this in war games?? you could just be running down a hall, with no gun, feeling free as the wind!!........and then a guy with gun turns the corner...............
well... halo is not the same purpose as COD... i believe it is for fun...and what a fun way to play the game trying to run away from all the fire

If Elites aren't in matchmaking, then Brutes need to be.
that would be a direct insult to most of the sangheili fans... It is basically ignoring them and not carring one bit about there opinion...so i doubt 343 would put brutes...but not elites

Gods, I hope that the shadows are cast from as far away as you can place an object. Then we could make a dark area. And honestly, we need WAY more than 2 lights.

Yea you guys have a point...but this is my idea... i think of it as an ok thing because 1. they are not as over powered as COD over powers the players with vehicles 2. Infinity slayer is a Team game so it is not possible for 1 person that has similar ranking to all the others to kill off the whole enemy team...so team work may help...
so you guys do have a point, but i feel like it is something ok in the game

definetly want to be able to play outer space maps, so im guessing and wishing for an outer space forge world...there should be
1) a gravity zone and also in which direction
2) vehicles from banshees to covanant crusiers and from sabres to frigates(broken or operational)
3) turrets (heavy)
4) background custimizable
5) asteroids
6) covanant cruiser/frigate path taken
7) objectives
then there you have it, an increadable invasion map
miraculously...the gravity idea was added in one day after i mentioned this

hello there... I think all unfairness that you think elites are could be fixed... hit box... could be fixed... appearance...could be fixed..ect. Why look for removing them all together when you could fix the problem..?

hey guys, just though of something... just like the humans have there "infinity multiplayer" im guessing that there will also be an "covanant cruiser multiplayer" where elites fight other elites in a simulation... What do you guys think

Not necessarily. My "friend" is greatly known throughout Halo for making images and maps and he has friends inside of 343 Industries. The contract is still remaining which is one of the reasons why Sangheili may/cannot be playable.
They may be added in future Downloadable Contents when the contract expires. Who knows?

well well well brother, it is the same fleet you mention. If you dont beleive me, ask the admiral medtelcam... i am seph 'vadam in his fleet, holding the rank of major. Any way, yes, avu knows much more about the halo universe than iInteresting, this thread was created such a long time ago and yet...everything within it is pure truth. The Crusading Spirit were always wise. Now tell me, which fleet are you in?

Im pretty sure that contract thing was about making halo on playstation...and because of bungie moving on to playstation...that is why they left halo...not because of the elites. And yes please, if you read this, and this is true...then please state your source... I doubt that 343 would dissapoint such a large community of people who would like to play as elites twice
Oh and accourding to cannon... Sangheili have a high status of honor, and to try to put someone else down is most likely a dishonorable act...so what are you, a sangheili or an elite?

lol, this topic got posted and posted again so much...that they pinned it to show everybody...so yea...basically...in the latest halo books...if you read them, you should know that the humans are trying to cause a civil war between the elites...and obviously the freind of my enemy is also my enemy...
