  1. This is unacceptable. I've only been assumed dead for years now. Surely this one is expected to pop into the thread at any time from the grave, yes?

I will forgive the transgression. Mostly because poor Vit has been wrong twice now. Perhaps the third time will be the charm?

  2. Making me actually vote while letting Fishy have a different option...*grumbles angrily*

I'd say option 1. Graphical errors put me off of a map more than any slight atmosphere mismatch. Besides, there aren't enough bright maps anyway. Everyone wants their infection maps to be dark.

  3. Q1: I'd like to know what you can figure out about a...strange occurence. I'm 20, but I still look and sound like I'm maybe 13 or so. It isn't a particularly rare occurrence in the general population nor will it be a bad thing later in life, but it gets in the way right now so I'm curious about it. I imagine there are innumerable causes, but I am interested in what you put forward.

Q2: This is the most important question. Purely hypothetical. Lets say you directed, but I failed to act. What would be the consequences?

Side Note: I would never disobey a direct order. Sir. :3

  4. I have two. The first is trying to help a friend through Halo 2 on legendary when he loves to use the energy sword...and uses the sniper on every enemy he encounters.

The second one was during some PvP with friends in Dark Souls III. Realized I lost over three million souls I had been saving for some levels.

But the Halo 2 experience is worse. It's still ongoing... q.q

  5. Sadly?? That's great! Our most active players usually only play Halo!

Aye, that's what I expected from this community even after all these years. :3

I play Halo almost every day as well. But sadly, most of my friends want to play other games. It probably doesn't help that I suffer from extreme bouts of rage some of the time I play. XD

I'm trying to fix that bit. But really, I was thinking the other day about my famous Khajiit line about warm sands and the road that leads you to them. :3

The road led me back here. It's much easier to avoid the "git gud" crowd here, don't you think? XD

That, and I MISSED YOU GUYS!!! q.q

  6. First, I'd like to apologize for all the times before, when I claimed I was back and then disappeared again. I can't come up with a good excuse, so we'll settle for...I lied. :3

As for what I've been doing this whole time? Please don't kill me with fire for this. Elite: Dangerous. I even checked out the forums over there. It's one of the better communities out there. Not better than all of you, but still. :3

All of that aside, I'm back. For real this time. I promise. So, have I missed anything significant? Has anyone tried to steal my font? How many people now hate me!?

Oh. And for those of you who are thinking "Who is this guy?" Or "I didn't like you much anyway, please leave again!" Well, there are a select few people who remember and like me and probably wouldn't mind me returning. This post is for them. :3

    • Switches. You could attach them to certain objects and they would only have simple on/off functions. You could designate the action that the object will perform. Such as disappearing, translating along x,y or z planes, rotating, or any combination. You could also attach a few sounds to the object when powered on in order to negate the silent motion. For instance, I could place a wall and attach a switch placed nearby. Then I could set it to translate along the z plane and rotate 90 degrees in a way that would make it appear to open similar to a garage door. Or it could just disappear over the course of half a second like an energy barrier.
    • Limited terrain modification. You could drag the land mesh vertices in limited distances to better accomodate your structures this way. And it wouldn't allow you to completely remake the geography of the map so that the devs could still monetize DLC effectively.
    • Better magnets. The magnets in Halo 4 were not perfectly placed. Neither was the coordinate plane. These both need more precision.

That about does it. They will probably dedicate more of the hardware power to the graphical rendering anyways so I doubt they would allow complex Forge functions.

  7. I'm not misinformed, I just hate quads in Halo.

Be that as it may, they will be there. Your only option will be to refuse to utilize them. That, and counter them anytime you see them on the battlefield.

Then complain about the quads, not about how 'omg what have you done to halo 2 you guys said you keep the multiplayer the same'.

Something about your attitude really irks me. Snooty, almost. There's no reason to be. We are all here to discuss a simple matter in a calm and friendly fashion.

  8. Keep a real classic playlist option available. Do like Reach, but have Evolved and Classic versions of everything. That way, 343 can evolve how they want to, while a real classic option still exists that I don't have to hope for. I mean, I have to hope for it to show up, then I have to hope it gets enough votes...

I prefer Infinity Slayer to Legendary Slayer, but a bigger focus on the core Halo feel would bring back those old fans while the evolved game would bring in more.

Next, lets keep some of dat music from Halo 4. It grew on me after a while, and I feel badass while it plays on SpOps. But, include more classic music as well. Halo 4 was too much new. I still boot up Halo 3 for some music now and then.

As for armor, I liked Halo 4's fully customizable Spartans, but Reach's modules and bits and pieces were fun too. Merge those systems 343, and you'll have a badass Armor system.

Finally, don't over complicate the game. I liked Halo because I didn't have to choose guns and perks and crap for my given situation. If I want to snipe in Halo 3, I just run for it. In Halo 4, I have to build a damn Loadout for it to be effective. Now, I like choosing between a balanced set of primaries and AA's, but adding anything else is just bringing in too much for the simple game that was Halo. Halo was great because it wasn't required to build a loadout in order to be competitive. I feel that these complicated loadouts have broken a good portion of the core Halo feel for me.

I loved Halo 4, and I plan to have Halo 5, but the complexity of this game is too much at this point. However, I can put up with all of these loadouts if we have more focus on the core Halo gameplay that has been lying dormant for years, now.
