Can't download from file share

Hi, I'm trying to download files from a friend's file share and it won't let me. It is saying "Content not allowed: Your account settings do not allowing (sic) viewing user-generated content. Please change your user account settings to allow this content." 

 

I went to the settings for my xbox one and everything is allowed.

 

I also contacted Microsoft support and they told me to come here as it looked good on their end. They also said that my account is an "admin" account and that there aren't any parent accounts associated with it, so it shouldn't be a family settings issue. 

 

Anyone have any ideas? Much appreciated.
