Halo: forge evolved

Forge has always been a cool idea that sparked imagination in a lot of people in SO many ways. Its awesome seeing how far it's come, garage band style! From foundry to impact (my fav of the new ones) it's come a long way. Forge is such an important thing to us as a community cause you can see creative genius worked into this vast universe that is Halo. Personally, I think forge has come so far as to say it diserves it's own game.

Now before I go off on a huge demanding rant I just want to let it be known that this idea doesnt even have to be halo canon, it wouldn't need a storyline, pro/antagonist, no polished cutscenes or crazy background noise. All it would be is pure sandbox forge forging forgery!

Haveing the default forerunner blocks was cool in reach, being able to craft whatever you had in mind and still get the point across. What about picking you're own skin fOr the blocks? have a 5x5 flat piece in the original style then be able to change that skin to a re-modeled 5x5 with the organic curvy covenant style or a 5x5 panel of just dirt and grass. Skins is something I feel would make for not only a more visual pleasing experience but one that could also keep you from loosing you dive halfway through(this is happening to me more and more on halo 4ge...=/ See what I did there? :D)

In the years gone by iv seen a lot of mention of AI friends/foe spawn points, as far as forge goes that shyt would be crazy. As far as a forge game goes tho? Hells no! Go abit further and have playable elites, brutes, grunts, jackels and even humans, crewmen/ensign's or marines & odst's. Its not like there isn't the right character models floating around! Player balancing might be an odd thing to get used to if your trying to just have a fun PvP but that's what this game would be for( imagine a "stomping on the heels of a fuss" game type....basically run you're arse off and hide)

If you were to take a survey of a group of old school halo'ers ( old school in a sence that you're probobly not a teenager anymore[how you act doesn't count] ) and asked them there favorite maps from all the games I bet about a quarter of the way through they would ask If forge world counts. I sure as poo still play around on forge world cause it IS the poo. These new forge maps are awesome, very well done! Like I sayed impact is my shyeit!! I still feel like there should be more though, && I know I'm a greedy basdit but maps like Apex and Warrens? If spartan ops is gonna be that short lived the give us the maps to play with in forge( that way I can wear my bloody mk.4 without it just defaulting to recruit:P) there is an abundance of wicked scenery and killer maps already in the past games I feel like we wouldn't even need any new ones(to start off at least) even some of the halo wars maps iv pictured lookin pretty awesome In 1st person.

One thing I can't seem to wrap my head around is this thirst for new weapons. If you actually think about it the die hard "gamers" havent seen more then what that games give them. Granted us who have read the comics and books haven't really "SEEN" those weapons either but the minds eye counts..kinda. I like a lot of the firearms already in the universe and ordinance is ordinance. Yet I still feel like some of these guns that have come and gone, need to just come back. My secondary in Odst, the silenced pistol. That Freekin handgun was my secondary thru the whole game( besides the whole " pickup this splaser and do work" parts of the game) even on legendary that m6 held strong. Every gun in the halo universe would probs be way to many f

For one game**** (Ahhh gashdayum enter key, jumpin the gun on me...pun definitely intended) just those Über winners of all time. Mine most likely differ from yours just as much as the next person but I think as far as guns, we're set in this universe.

I'm not write a proposal for a million dollar idea, just one forge'r, forging an idea so that other forge'rs may add to it, forging a bond between forge and online massacres, so that future game forgers can put on a couple hundred pots of Folgers and forge us a; Halo: Forge Evolved

This is reaaaally hard to read, but you still have a good idea going here!

I can see Forge being set on a different disc then Campaign, and MP cause for 1: That reduces the stress the main game has to go through with it on the disc, and 2: We can now have more room on a stand-alone disc for more content.

BUT There are problems with this. If Halo were to go the "separate disc" way for MP, and Campaign it would be annoying to constantly have to switch discs to play each mode. For Xbox One it wouldn't be much of a problem seeing it can already handle a crapload more than the 360, but for the 360 it would be an annoyance.

I think the best way would be to go the ODST way, and include it in a "Full Multiplayer Experience" disc that's lacking Campaign. This way you can play Theater, Forge, and MP/Matchmaking without having to switch discs.

Now for Forge to actually be sold as a separate entity.... that would be tricky. If you only have Forge, then you're lacking Custom Games, and Theater to actually test the maps you've made. I mean it would work if it was just like a 5$ thing that you could buy, but still have Forge in the regular Halo games. That way people don't think they NEED to spend more money for something that could have already been in the game to begin with. Better yet all these additions, and content you listed could probably be included in a Future Halo game without the hassle.

But the logic behind ODST's Full Mp Experience is strange as well. They could have just included a modified Halo 3 that has all the DLC maps, so people can enjoy both Halo 3's campaign, and ODST's.

All true, it would have to have a theatre mode though, I was gearing more toward machinima making as opposed to all out online games. Iv been hangin with a buddie playing space engineers, full on ship building game and it just got me thinkin.
