Halo 5 Story

What do you think will happen in Halo 5? I think that it will keep focusing more on the Chief's humanity than the machine part of him. They said that it will have a darker feel, and Cortana is just after dying so he'll probably be all depressed in it and they'll try to show us that a bit. But obviously we are going to be fighting 1000 billion aliens and we don't really know who we'll be fighting and why. The Covenant are all but dead, and they wouldn't attack humanity at this stage. Unless the humans attack the Covenant, I can't imagine another human-covenant war. And plus, Chief has always been more of a defender, he doesn't really run off to conquer planets for the human race. The Forerunners are all dead, save the Didact who may be alive, but what can he do without the composer and his prometheans? So I can't really think of what they'll try to do. What do you think will be the story?

I somehow think Halo 5 could introduce several new species the Didact wants to protect, also Precursor Artifacts secretly aboard the Infinity and inside Requiems deepest core is interesting plot material.

this is just a thought, but laskey said that infinitys job was to locate the remaining halo rings. so maybe if were lucky, we will be able to fight on a halo ring again . but then is there unfinished buisness on requeim?
