Halo 4 : Unreadable disc

So I can install both cds no problem, and play the campaign up to the "Requiem" mission, while loading gives me the "Game error : unreadable disc" message, then booted back to dash. Iv swapped the game twice at the store, and even tried my friends overseas copy and still the same problem in the same place so its not the cd. i have cleared the cache and re-installed several times, tried it with and without the 2mb update and still no go. other new and old games work fine (dishonored, borderlands 2) so it cant be the laser either. I see alot of others are having this issue, but im yet to find a solution. Anyone?!

Same similiar issues here since launch. No word on a fix from anyone. Being completely ignored. Sucks. Not sure if the update coming this Monday is an actual update but rather a change in matchmaking.
