New custom search not working

I know I should probably post this in the forge section but there is very little traffic there so here goes. Back in Reach I used to go to New custom search and type in the map I was looking for( usually just remakes of old maps) and download a bunch of the maps that came up to see which one was closest to the original. Now it just says "no results found". Someone in a different thread was explaining to someone else that to find his maps they would have to search by gamertag. Do I really have to search by gamertag? This is going to make doing that a pain as Idk anybody who forges and even if I did, I doubt they would have all the maps I am looking for. What is the deal?
