Wouldn't it be a bit easier if there was one Introduction thread? It would be loads more space-efficient and would minimalize the clutter of topics with one (or even zero) replies. Also, the newbies would be able to slip into an easy conversation with other newcomers when it's in a communial setting, instead of isolated topics that, quite honestly, not many people will view.
