Joining in session has issues

Joining in session is a problem, what are the advantages of being able to join a game where i am losing, i have yet to join a game in progress where i am on the winning team. Why do people leave games, they either lag out or they quit because they are losing, so the majority of games that will be joined in session will be games that you are losing, how is this ok, i do not what to join losing battles i do not enjoy this, i will just leave the game, players should be given the option whether to allow join session in progress, some people do like, i do not, if someone leaves my game ill play a man down i dont care, but i do care when i am being force to join a losing game and be expected to pick up the slack
