Turox
One thing I hate about most folding covers I’ve tried is that they rattle or lift when you're doing 70 on the highway. I need something that stays planted, even with wind, and doesn’t start making noise a few months in. Any recs for covers that actually stay tight and quiet long-term? Flomarrio
I switched to Extang Xceed after ditching a cheaper tri-fold that constantly made noise on the freeway. The difference was immediate — no rattling, no vibration even when I’m driving 80+ on open highway. The flush-mount design really helps with airflow, and it locks down tight with no loose flaps or fabric. It’s aluminum and the panels are solid enough that you don’t get that flexing sound when wind hits. I’ve driven with bikes and boards strapped down above it, and it didn’t budge. After 9 months of daily use, it’s still as quiet as day one. I clean the rails maybe once every few weeks and that’s it. It gives you peace of mind if you’re on the road a lot and hate distractions like I do. Definitely a step up if noise is a dealbreaker.
