Battlefield Hardline's Launch Maps and Modes Revealed!
VinWarrior posted a article in Other Articles
The upcoming Battlefield spin-off, Battlefield Hardline, is getting the full treatment with new maps and modes, all revealed now! Battlefield Hardline looks to be packed to the brim with content, while it might not all be working content at launch (let's hope it works) it still looks quite fun. On battlefield's website, Battlefield.com, new images and descriptions were given to the game's 9 launch maps, compared to Battlefield 4's 10 launch maps, and the previous entries all being 9 as well. The new maps are, Downtown, Bank Job, The Block, Dust Bowl, Hollywood Heist, Growhouse, Riptide, Everglades, and Derailed. To top all this off, the game will ship with 5 different modes, the newest one being Crosshair. The other modes are Hotwire Mode, Heist, Rescue, and Blood Money. Crosshair will follow a 5 v 5 gameplay trying to keep VIPs alive for as long as possible while trying to eliminate all of the opposing team as quickly as possible. The maps will range from medium to small and will feature the past game's levolution. The game launches March 17th, 2015 with all this content for PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as the PC. View attachment: battlefield_hardline.jpg I must admit, even though Hardline doesn't look to do much to identify itself as a Battlefield game, it has some nice graphics and an overall interesting tone to it, nothing like I've seen outside of Counter-Strike. I'm not pre-ordering after the travesty that was Battlefield 4's launch, but Hardline is sticking on my radar. What about you, what do you think of Hardline so far? Do the maps and modes impress you? Let me know down below, thanks for reading folks!- 3 comments

Good mornin' ladies and gents, welcome to the Weekly News Wrap-Up for the end of January! As we begin our dark descent into the month of loooooove (ew) I want to thank you all for the tremendous support over this past year, as about a year ago I became your MoM and soon rose to a staff position. A year later I'm still going strong and couldn't have done it without you all behind me. Love aside, let's get down to the news of this week! View attachment: WNW 13115.png Battlefield Hardline Beta Bonus in Battlefield 4 + Details! (GameSpot.com) View attachment: battlefield-hardline.jpg If you're a Battlefield fan and cannot wait to play the Hardline beta on February 3rd, you may also have an interesting Battlefield 4 bonus awaiting you after playing. Just for playtesting Hardline you'll snag a nice looking Battlefield 4 dog-tag with the Hardline logo on it after the game's next patch in March. The tag will from then on be usable in Battlefield 4 only going right along with Hardline's launch in March. Playing the beta will not have content transfer to the final game. The beta will be available on all platforms except in Japan where the Xbox players will not have access to it. You can download it on Origin or over your respective console when it launches this Tuesday. Lead Writer of Borderlands Leaves Gearbox! (IGN.com) View attachment: borderlands2_review_massive_gamepage.jpg Borderlands is known for it's quirky pop culture based humour that, love it or hate it, has been prevalent in the series and part of it's identity for a long time, but that might be changing. Anthony Burch, the lead writer of the Borderlands series, who has worked on all of them to date, will be leaving Gearbox to pursue opportunities with television working with Hulu on a new series. While Gearbox hasn't commented publicly about his departure yet, he tweeted his support and thanks to the company and to the fans of Borderlands. This may be why Gearbox is choosing to look for help in building Borderlands 3, it is possible that after the Pre-Sequel many began to look for other opportunities like Burch. Either way, it's sad to see Burch leave the team, though I wish him luck in his future endeavors. Square Enix Announces Ultimate Stealth and Action Bundles! (GameInformer.com) View attachment: ultimate-triple-packs.png It seems that many companies are bundling their latest or most acclaimed titles together to receive a nicer payout and give fans a good deal, Square Enix is no different. The company is releasing two different bundles on March 31st at $29.99 a piece, each including three of their most critically acclaimed titles. The first bundle, called the Ultimate Action Triple Pack, will include Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider, and Just Cause 2. The second, the Ultimate Stealth Bundle, includes Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Thief, and Hitman: Absolution. These bundles are only coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3, so no current gen release for games like Hitman and Deus Ex unfortunately. In Other News: Games With Gold February 2015 (343i.org) View attachment: GWG.png This month has some awesome games as reported by the wickedly talented Adam91! Some great games are on display this month, 2 for the Xbox 260 and 1 for the Xbox One. Adam did a great article on these games so I definitely recommend you go check it out! You won't regret it! And leave a comment letting Adam know I sent ya there! Staff Highlights: USF Policy Update (343i.org) View attachment: Staff.jpg On a very serious note to harass others is very wrong, and is no longer being tolerated in any fashion, especially not in the USF election, which is nearing it's final days. To slander any candidate or gloat is unappreciated and according action will be taken if you're found responsible. A 7 day ban is the main punishment for those who abuse and berate others, candidates or supporters, so be warned. If you want more details, check the above thread. Welp, that's all this week, Merry February everyone, I'll see you next week. Take care. PLAY ME OFF JIMMY. *music*

In comparison to past Battlefield games, I think it's different, but as a FPS game, it's pretty cool because you kill people and can get in vehicles to travel. Graphics could get better, but t they can fix that.
