Looking for anyone willing to spare 15 minutes to help me (or you as well) acquire the Party Hearty co-op achievement in Halo 5. It will probably be easiest with only two players. Is this game even official? I would like to see one some day, but I have not heard a thing about a sequel to Halo Wars.
That being said, I too would really like to see an iteration of space combat integrated into a Halo RTS. Sounds cool

Based on what we know about Halo 5, expect to play as a Spartan III model. It is probably the only way 343 could justify introducing a new spartan considering all of the Spartan IIs were acounted for in the novels. Hundreds of Spartan IIIs were issued since the UNSC discovered Onyx, so it would be easy for 343 to take one of them. Yes, the armor will certainly be smaller, but odds are that it will be more customizable and act the same as it did in Halo 4. Remember, we were all a Spartan III in Halo: Reach and it wasn't a problem.
BTW, 343 shrunk the Master Chief to a twig in Halo 4 without justification, so, honestly, who knows what they will do

I really wish there was more actual thought into topics on this board than "OMG I WANT HALO ON TEH PC XDDDD" It's not coming to the PC, Halo 3 maybe, But a PC couldn't handle MCC in the first place, to large for most PC's unless you can afford to spend £2000 on a graphics card plus a PC that can actually run it, along with any other game. 343 said it wouldn't come to the PC, they're trying to up the sales of the Xbox One, of which it almost assuredly will Besides if you're really the "Mastur race" why not play some of your PC games? Or are they not interesting enough people have to beg for a new title?
In all actuality, any graphics card roughly <$150 (like £125) has greater graphics processing capability than the X1, and storage is certainly no issue with the price of modern hard drives. I realize it is very unlikely for MS to release a PC version, as it would be bad marketing on their part, but I like to keep the dream alive. I'm no PC master race, and have been playing Halo, each one, since 2001, which is likely to be before come of the community members were even born. I would only like to see a PC port to A) save money, B ) experience greater graphical fidelity on superior equipment, and C) see the collection last longer than it would on X1 alone. The Xbox can only last so long, but PCs are forever.

I hope they return on halo 5 because I have halo reach and halo 4 which do not have the flood and I really want to encounter them.
You can still play Halo 2 and Halo 3, both of which contain the Flood, on Xbox 360, if you are so inclined. In fact, those two are widely considered the greatest of the Halo titles.

Hey 343i community,
I was just browsing good ol' Youtube today when I found
surprising bit of news that yet reignites the demand to see Halo enter the PC world (again), in all of its glory. I sure hope it does, as it would save me from buying a new console just to play the games on an inferior system. How BA would this be? It would not be great marketing on Microsoft's part to release a PC version of the collection, at least at launch, but my God would it make a LOT of gamers happy. You guys think the hype is real?

If Microsoft can still make money with it on Xbox 360, they will milk it dry. Maybe in a few years we can see an official port but the 360 and Halo 3 still sell.
How glorious it will be on my new rig though...

Feel free to ask questions or start topics to help you answer burning questions you may have, or just chip in to conversations that you feel you have input in. I feel that when it comes to forums, the more the merrier. Most of all, have fun!

Personally, I do not believe folk like gamers need any more incentive to excercise than the desire for reasonably good physical health. I believe that all people DO know how to retain an appropriate level of fitness on their own accord, even if they don't abide by it, and so trying to convince people of this gamer/geek demographic to adhere to a catchy tech/fitness program is a lost cause. People want what they want, and do with their lives what they want with their lives. They know any consequences associated with their lifestyles and can make decisions about it themselves without third party interference.
Ooops, just went on a tangent that really didn't answer your question. Sorry! But I really wanted to get that out there on this subject.

Good luck with contacting them. I would have thought Twitter or the email addresses would be your best shot. Your topic would have to be pretty popular to pique the interest of 343i from the Waypoint forums. BTW, your project sounds pretty interesting, especially for an honors project. Mind me asking what it's about?

I just want my achievement progress for Halo 3 & 4 to transfer. I spent days completing Halo 4 and I almost have all of Halo 3 as well. It would kill me to have to do it all over again, especially the Halo 3 achievements

We will definately see the flood again. They are the ultimate threat to all life in the galaxy, and since the Covenant disbanded, no force is near as large. In Halo 5, I imagine the primary antagonists being the Ur-Didact's Promethians (again). Perhaps even Insurrectionists or Covie separatists; anything is possible. We may not see the Flood in Halo 5, but they are the ultimate force to be dealt with and the UNSC will do so eventually.

Yeah that really annoys me too.
The Completionist in me is going nuts right now... just imagine what else they have in mind for pre-order.
All of the skulls will eventually be unlocked for everyone
My God im ****** when I see this... GameStopes one with the Bandana, Unlimited ammo...
Ok..so a Over Powerd Skull that give's us unlimited ammo/grenades.. is just given with no effert or skill or hard work or challenge..
It's just given to whoever Pre orders it. Giving that player the ability to spam grenades or a OP gun ( Rockets ) on Legendary
Giving a unfair advantage over everyone else with no skill at all, Allowing them to compleat Legendary easily with again no effert all they have to do is spam grenades.
What they Should have done, Is make the players ( All players ) able to EARN the achievment with some hard challenge or to compleat the story on Legendary on Solo then able to unlock it.
But no it is giving to anyone skill or no skill, just for pre ordering the game from GS....
I'm sorry But I think that was a Poor choice...
That Skull should be Earned not just given to people who have money...
Earned by Hard work is what it should have been.
Everyone is already Saying how they are geting that Pre Order because of the OP Skull.
That Legendary Also should be EARNED by players who also have skill and worked HARD on getting it ( and maybe they don't need skill but they still worked hard to get it and will be proud they got it ) But its all taken away from that Skull. Now the players can just Spam grenades ( no skill or hard work needed there ) and they "
earned"? the achievment?? That is not Earning that Achievment!That Skull Should be Earned just as that Legendary Achievment should be earned!

Everyone will have access to the skulls, even pre order ones, at some point post-release

I've had fun playing them, but I do not think we will see any more Crysis. That being said, I'm going through the whole series on my PC right now

That's exactly how it was in Halo 3 and CEA. It is a very good method, and I kind of wish 343i would do that for the Halo 2 Anniversary, but it probably won't. Admittably, some of the skulls were difficult to find, but it is always an adventure searching for those skulls
