Dunno where's the right place to post it, but I wanted to share this, so yeah.
Been so time since my previous post.
That aside, the real deal. I really liked this image:
I wanted it as a wallpaper for my phone, but I couldn't find a proper portrait version of it. I searched and found some improperly proportioned (not 9:16) ones.So I decided to make a custom made one for myself. I put it in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects (I like to work on small details if I can), did some tinkering, size readjustment, and refilling and patching; creating, well, this:
Its a portrait 720x1280 wallpaper, with the logo shifted up a little so it's visible above the icons usually present on the lower side of the screen.I thought since I liked it so much I'd share it to the community. Not sure if the right place, but yeah. If you want I can do a 1080x1980 version with some more custom tinkering around.So it looks like this on my phone:

I'm still not convinced our "Next Halo journey" was Halo 5. From everything I've read, I think that its likely Halo 2 Anniversary ships this year, with the means to access a Halo 5 beta. This would be a great move in my opinion, not only are you giving us Halo 2 in HD, you'd be perfecting Halo 5 with a beta, which is something Halo 4 definitely could've benefited from.
I understood 3/4th of what you said, but I agree.
I would like if they could release H2 HD for PC too. (Ya know, boost up the sales of Windows 8.1)

So, back in 2013, I posted a thread on this very same topic though my evidence was faulty and the thread became called 'failure of a thread', and changed in a Photoshoping contest. Well, I got some more info on it, and I decided to make a new thread for it, as no one was visiting the old one anyways(though it got 6000+ views). So, let's cut to the mains, here's the deal:
In the news section of the 343i website, I found this:In an Interview with the voice actor of the Master Chief, Steve Downes, has confirmed Halo 2 anniversary is coming.
Gamezone sat down the Steve and spoke with him about Halo 5 and the rumors about Halo 2 anniversary. This is what he had to say about it.“I think you may be ahead of yourself on Halo 5,” Downes said. “I wouldn’t expect anything until 2015. What you can look forward to this year is an anniversary edition of Halo 2.”It is unsure if the re-release will contain it's own multiplayer, if it will just ported over to Halo 4 or if it will just be HD version of the campaign.Halo 2 is arguably the game that has defined online console gaming and has been a great success for Xbox Live. On Steve's facebook he was confronted with comments from fans asking about him confirming Halo 2 anniversary, Steve made comments backing out of his supposed statement."Let me clarify something. I think there may be a misunderstanding. I have no official info on a H2 anniversary edition. I've only heard what you have heard. You'll have to go to Waypoint for the official word"I was like, WHAT THE HELL???Some weeks ago, I heard there was a post in Australia by XBOX saying that one of the games XBOX ONE fans should anticipate was Halo 5, then again there was a post cutting this off, saying that 'it was a mis-post, we have no confirms on naming the next Halo as Halo 5, it will just be a Halo for Xbox One. Now again. What is Microsoft hiding from us?What are your thoughts on this news, are you happy to hear Halo 2 anniversary is coming, are you upset Halo 5 or whatever has been delayed?Let the comments begin in 3... 2... 1... Well there is no another problem. My school has blocked the website cus I am usually in this forum on my computer so now I'm on my phone which can be very hard

C'mon People, you all try too! Create a cover art which you think would be nice and show your love to Halo!
Awesome cover art, wouldn't mind at all if this is what Halo 5's case looked like. I especially like Cortana and Halsey blended in the background.

Thanks so very much. I had to do much hard work on the Cortana-Halsey Split just to make it look even. Still now, it's not perfect, but due to low opacity, it blends.
By the way, I'm coming up with another Cover Art, Stay Tuned!

screw it im really sorry but i cant manage to paste it at all. im really sorry. all the image is: your same image with a picture of the planet reach requiem and the Ur-Didact in it. Didact is above chief, requiem is in between cortana and chief and reach is on the right side of halsey.
reach by halsey represents the old spartan programs and noble 6 and halseys past, requiem represents how chief and cortana were lost on the planet and lost each other. and didact represents how he may return or another may appear to get revenge on chief and the humans
That sounds nice and I would really like to see it. In your photoshop window, open your image, then press the "Print Screen" Button, which should be above the insert button.
Then open paint, Ctrl+V (Paste) it, save it, upload it, then show it to me. I'd really like to see it.

i really like it and it is great art. really good i just think there should be a little more things in the back ground. i use photo shop so i might create something. also i was hoping i could edit this if you dont mind. add smething else in the back ground is all or you can do it. i was just curious is all. so i hope you dont mind me asking.

i like it. nice job with the cortana/halsey duality. sort of symbolic like even though cortanas gone, halsey's is still kicking, and she could be johns last hope for answers.

Thank you so much. About 3 hours. It was completed in two hours, but I had used the Xbox 360 banner.
I read somewhere that it's exclusively for xbox one, so i searched for the xbox one banner, but didn't find it, so with reference to other covers, I custom made one using the logo.

I had to rescale the whole photo, that's why MC looks so low-res but the foreground elements high-res. But it was worth it. Totally worth it.
It's better I posted this topic over here than forum.halomaps.org. All the people of that place knows is criticizing.
BTW, why not you all create one? I created this pic using Adobe After Effects.

We know the Didact is still alive because we hear him talking at the end of Halo 4 and he is immune to the effects of the Composer.
Exactly. Game Making Companies do leave such hints in games for us to pickup. Anyways, we didn't see him "die" There was that blast and he falls away, but he can probably still be alive. I mean, look at how powerful he is.
But anyways, I think Cortana can be retrieved. The part of her at the... um... yeah Composer(forgot the word) probably died, but he can retrieve her somehow, somewhere. I'm sure of this because anywhere in the theories/wishlists of Halo 5, "Cortana Back" is one sure thing you'll see. And 343i will have to make the game so that people "like it", wont they?

So, on topic: there are many speculations about the story of Halo 5. I went through, and came up with a fan-made cover art. There have been speculations that halo 5 should return with Cortana, and will have much to do with Dr. Halsey. So I came up with this:

I sorry if this is the wring head to post this but I've been thinking.
Why is it that people just HAVE to compare and contrast and divide amongst each other?
Guys, Bungie was good, really good in it's own place. It introduced Halo, it gave us our childhood and long hours of forgetless fun and a lot of memories to look past on when you're taking a ride down the nostalgia lane.
343i's unique and good in their own place. First off it consist of a lot of passionate Halo fans (who're programmers, designers, etc ofc) who were, when they did Halo 4, new to this. They tried something, failed. But, the way they handled this is really good. They experimented, faced a setback, accepted their mistake, listened to the community and then after the widely criticised MP of Halo 4 they gave us Halo 5's MP. Sure, it lacks the original Grifball, CTF, KOtH, etc, but still, it was and is, fun. Competitive, and Warzone.
Which is something, at his point, usually only trolls who havent played Halo at all and call it stupid cuz it runs of 480p30fps disagree with.
Still they're the kind of devs who're taking the risks the experiment and try to give out new content while still sticking to the core elements of Halo, which is what has made Halo live so long. New, yet the same old good stuff.
Today game devs are so afraid of trying something new with their popular franchises they're afraid they'd do a 343 (Yea that's a verb now, I made it). They're not making any changes, and I'm some cases giving us the same thing over and over again *cough*(Insert the obvious ans here) *cough*.
343i's actually expanding the Halo lore, giving Chief a little more character but not so much you can't feel as him while playing anymore, and Halo 4's campaign was great because of this.
However this time they screwed up the Campaign a little in the aim of nailing the perfect MP.
They basically did a Halo 2 with 5, also with the added bonus they're trying in vain to shift he focus of the series from MC and Blue Team to Fireteam Osiris.
Other than that, the campaign was quite interesting and beautiful. Short, maybe, yet great.
Well, still space for betterment, maybe like Halo 3, Halo 6 would be better and in both aspects, SP and MP.
My point is, instead of blaming 343i for killing, murdering, assassinating or shr3king Halo, accept Halo 5 as their Halo 2 and cut 'em some slack. It'll take them time getting used to it. Until then you'll have to, depending on you, spend or waste your $60.
Here's hoping for food.
