Most "competitive" settings do, and it was announced that there would be no radar in the new "Team Throwdow" coming out.... this Monday I think?

 

Thank you for answering. I think my son's would be interested in this then as they hate the radar. How would i sign them up for this?.

I wish the'yd do another ODST campaign or a HALO Wars 2 myself, but hey thats just me .

[Betrayals]

Ahh Betrayals. This is my experiece with it:

 

Son says dad try this OL so i give in, game is dominion, on Longbow. Match starts i sprint to A? on way i see an rocket launcher, son's are yelling 'get it dad', so i toss my trusty magnum & get the hammer of god, err rocket launcher. I run in the base sons are yelling 'capture it dad'. So i start the capture process & hear a sound from a sticky grenade enough time to say 'uh oh' & boom i'm dead.

 

Teammate killed me for the RL8(. So i run back in smack him, & force him to kill me again, then i get option to boot him sons are yelling 'do it dad' so i do & wallah i got my RL back . So i run outside to go to Charlie, get halfway their & get run over by a teammate in a ghost. ;

 

 

Hand controller back to sons .

[The Final Death of Halo.]

Halo dead?, far from it IMHO, i have heard this before with games dateing back to my comodore 64 days . But anyway opinions are like a$$holes we all have one.and they usualy arn't worth what it took to make them .

 

Personaly i love HALO 4 because i'm an old fart who enjoys the campaign i'm not playing for the MP (unforutently i cant twitch shoot like i used to 20+ years ago, and i hate the motion sensor being on in MP ), So i leave the multiplayer to my sons, while i enjoy watching them play(they hate the motion sensor as well) well i'll keep laying the campaign & SO missions alone & coop,

 

I dont consider any video game a sport, no matter how much money ppl throw around etc, trying to sell video gameing as a 'sport', so i wont miss MGL not being part of HALO 4 etc. When i want competitive play, i already get it, whenever i join an HALO4 MP game.

I wish they would adress all the hacking going on ie, 2rd burst DMR, & LRs, ppl picking their own loadout to spawn in by this i mean the guy who spawns in with a sniper rifle, & Rocket launcher, you kill him he has an AR & both the RL & SR dissapear. people with permant damage boost etc. .Also adress the host leaveing issues, that stick you in the start screen for 5-10mins, or mysticly teleport you to a new game.

 

That would be a good start.

[Should the UNSC have laser and Plasma weapons ?]

Humanity have always developed counter weapon tech, so IMHO the UNSC would have developed more powerful SA KE rounds to deal more effectively with any Covie personal sheilding, Brutes etc, then the current UNSC ammo can. Small arm, weapon and ammunition development would not stagnate, especialy in the dire situation was humanity was in in the HALO universe, if anything IMHO it would have increased.

That sounds more like lag/modding.

The DMR beats the AR at close quarters? You've got to be joking! The AR, and other automatic weapons, will flatten the DMR, and other precison weapons, at close quarters.

 

I, have watched my sons put all 32 rounds into a DMR user's back @ PB range just to have him, spin around ,fire one round that broke full sheilds & killed them, Same with BR 1, 3 round burst beats full auto AR CQB so many times i lost count. We have watched the films after to confirm it.

[Overpowered Weapons]

AR overpowered? realy?. If anything they need to put the magazine size back to what it used to be IMHO. Also the AR is the standard UNSC weapon, not the BR or DMR.. Another thing is with the ammount of hacking going on in the Halo 4 xbox lobbies it realy doesnt matter, when their are ppl running around with 2 round burst DMRs, & Light rifels, and BRs that fire 2 bursts with 1 trigger pull, ppl spawning into games with shotguns & RLs etc. Wait till you see what a 2rd burst DMR does to your Spartan .

 

Anyway interesting thread.

[Tracker and Rogue Specializations Deleted.]

They wernt their today when my sons played the latest SO missions, the doubles mode was all that they got.

[Missing Specs.]

Got the latest Spartan Ops today, the opening message on XBL claimed that it included 2 new specs opened up, Rouge, & Tracker. Problem is my sons did not get the specs they do not appear in the spec list etc. Got the doubles game mode they played all 5 new missions etc,

 

I contacted Xbox suppt, they had us clear cache, delete title update etc, & that did not fix it. Sons had had Halo 4 since Dec 31 2012, & first played OL Jan 6 IIRC . Any help apreciated as the boys are stuck on 110 till they can access a new spec.
