  1. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense. How many countries in the world play football, and no I don't mean fútbol? Just one: USA. On the other hand, how many countries play soccer? All the rest. Xbox live is a worldwide network so it makes sense that there would be more people playing FIFA than madden. I'm American and I prefer FIFA over madden any day :D

Actually, Canada and Australia play it too. But since Madden is based on NFL and AFC, yeah. Probably only USA players.
  2. Forge World was too bland, likely because it was already at the limits of what Forge could be. That being said, a nice and open sandbox map would be nice, but Impact is close enough for me. Perhaps in the next game it will be possible to have something a bit bigger with more options.

  3. ... You can easily change the soft kill boundaries. I think Ravine is pretty cool, and has a lot of potential. Impact is huge, just the space between the two biggest rocks looks smaller than it really is. Honestly the usable area on Impact seems about 3/4 of the size of the usable area on Forge World. Haven't tried Erosion.

  4. I think the Light Rifle is a better Mid-Long Range weapon than the BR, honestly. Sure, unscoped does less damage, but the spread is also much smaller (that I've seen at least) and scoped it does crazy damage. But once you get in too close, its shine fades.

  5. As far as I know objects already have different weights, wouldn't be too difficult for something like this to weaken over distance, and have less of an effect on heavier targets. Add in zero damage to what it hits (minus the small chance to splatter) and it seems to be pretty balanced. Mainly useful to give yourself some distance from AR, Boltshot, different shotties.

  6. My question is... What are these knives made of? Supposedly the Covenant ships are bulletproof, but we see Master Chief (rather easily I might add) stab his knife into a Lich to keep from falling off. You'd think your average metal would snap like a twig.

  7. Hard light shield is honestly not that bad, it does reflect pretty much all gunfire. More useful than auto sentry so I don't consider it the worst AA

Auto Sentry is king during CTF. Seems people don't know how to react when a floating ball starts shooting at them and sounds an alarm when they try to sneak to the flag.

Now back to on-topic, that little shield required outside help, so the only way I see this as being possible is if someone could somehow target an ally with their shield.

  8. In a Vs. type situation, Scorpion wins 7 times out of 10, I'd say. Simply because of more powerful shots to take the Mantis out at considerable range. On your average map where you don't have to worry about them going up against each other... I'd say Mantis. Against a Wraith, the added speed and smaller target would help avoid the mortar shots. Against your average person on the ground, it is almost impossible to take one down without some sort of power weapon, since it has its own rechargeable shields to get through before damaging the vehicle itself. Add in rockets that can home in on vehicles, and a pretty powerful machine gun, and the Mantis is certainly something you don't want to come face to face with.

  9. I agree. The Falcon was a lot of trouble and usually made for a very attractive tripple kill. The hornets could have been better. Really the only stable arial vehicle over the years was the banshee.

I hated the falcon in multiplayer because the driver didn't have a gun.

So... Like the Warthog except with three dimensions in order to avoid attacks? I liked the Falcon, it was pretty balanced. Could take more damage than the Banshee, and could dish out more too, but less maneuverable and required more people.
