  1. the pelican and phantom/spirit would be awesome in forge and/or campaign. But for these people who doubt it could be like an aerial elephant, and if it is overpowered there should be an anti-air weapon to counter it if it appears in multiplayer

    OP, if you have no intention of buying the games in future, then you can always play Halo 3.

     

    They are not going to build a Multiplayer system for Halo CEA, this is being released as a anniversary (clue in title), almost gift to the fans if you like.

    Halo 4 however is a different kettle of fish, which WILL have its own multiplayer system, will there be armor abilities? who knows. In fact who knows what will be in Halo 4? or what Halo 4 storyline is even about? no one, so lets take things as they come and come back to this discussion as and when details are given out,

    well said i for one sort of don't mind armour abilities. In fact if they took armour lock or shortened it to like 2 seconds of usage then multiplayer would be a better place

  3. i agree with above but im going to emphasize. credits and the armory system should stay in the game whilst Gollums idea should be implemented with a couple of tweaks and twists. for every exp you recieve it should be multiplied by like 1.5 or something just an example. So while we have the best of both rank systems at the same time having a new system altogether

  4. i really liked dual wielding because instead of loads of new weapons you could wield 2 at once with a variety of what to dual wield it also made for good action sack games. Sorry Gollum i don't think that dual swords should be implemented, it would be too over powered to have with sword with, for example, the smg, because you could kill with mid to long range with the smg whilst beating down people at close range with the sword. So unless, you could use only 2 swords when dual wielding swords it would be too unbalanced

  5. i really disliked reticule bloom rather have br spread because at least that kept some realism what with being a super soldier with out the hassle of recoil. good old halo 3

    And, as the dreaadnought must have landed on the ark, ans has Truth died, I doubt anyone remebered to pick it up. ;)

    yeah good point but i really don't think covie stragglers would "forget" the most powerful ship in their fleet

  7. forerunners could manipulate solar systems themselves to make room for planet sized structures like the one in the trailer. Anyway was the prophet of truth's forerunner dreadnought destroyed? it could be covenant loyalists pulling MC in a tractor beam

  9. As long as there's hardly a difference in accuracy between ADS and nonADS shooting I think it'd be fine. If it was a preference thing you know? If shooting ADS gives an advantage then camping will be much more common, and I really think that's a negative.

     

    It all depends on how it's done. I just don't want gameplay to slow down any.

    again i completely agree with what you are saying i just think it should be an option not a necessity

  10. My personal opinion is it should be used for aesthetic reasons, i only posted this topic to merely see other peoples ideas, not to see people slugging it out. If i am honest i just thought this because i have never seen the point of putting sights on the gun if you can't use them

  11. custom games were awesome when you would just get a bunch of friends and play jenga or skycastle or smear the quear and especially clog the toilet, that was ridiculous but so addicting and a good laugh

  12. I think that the success of Halo 4 will not just revolve around multiplayer. I think that since Halo 3 custom games were a major benefactor of the game adding humour and imagination to the game. My idea of success to Halo 4 is to perfect custom games, as I think thats a major wild card that no other games had at that time that kept people on Halo

They cant really add any new weapons unless they are sentinel beams and other forerunner technology, and it already looks like they have a jet pack or at least that is what the trailer seemed to have. If you want to make the game successful...just make the game, people are going to buy it as long as it has the essentials. Campaign, Multi-player, custom games, FORGE. This forum shouldn't be named "HOW TO MAKE HALO 4 SUCCESSFUL" It should be named How to make halo 4 playable after the 1st month. I am a big fan of halo,but if my friends decide to play modern warfare then it gets boring playing fat kid by yourself. i think firefight and forge should join forces into an awesome combination that would rival that of Nazis zombies...just think about the possibilities. editing spawns for grunts, elites, and maybe the FLOOD if they choose to add it. And keeping the old weapons wouldn't hurt neither.

    couldn't be more correct about your friends playing Call of Duty, custom games aren't good if there is no-one to play them
