  1. It was known for ages that elites were not going to be a part of matchmaking. Literally months and months and months have gone by, with all kinds of threads popping up asking the same exact thing you're asking. But the game is out, and there are no elites, and there are not going to be elites. There are a few reasons for this.

    1. Halo 2 had Elites because they modeled a character that we actually got to play in the campaign, so why not use that model in MM as well?

    2. Halo 3 had the same reason as Halo 2.

    3. Reach had the Elite models because 2 & 3 did, but notice that they started to limit the use of elites in MM games to Invasion, and specific Elite Slayer matches.

    4. Halo 4's MM takes place on the Infinity, the largest ship in the UNSC fleet. War Games is simple a simulation of a battle, not an actual battle, to train Spartan IV's. There are no covies on the Infinity, so it doesn't make sense to have them in MM.

I could continue this list, but I've decided not to.

Oh, so it make complete sense to have flood on there?

  2. Legit is the way to go. Although boosters don't really affect me, so it doesn't matter much.

I've seen a lot of people get all hot and bothered over boosters, but I honestly don't find it to be THAT terrible of a thing.

I mean, yeah, it's not really playing by the rules, but since it doesn't affect people, then I don't see why it should be such a big deal.

  3. So if the Xp cap should stay, they should atleast let us get xp rewards from challenges after we hit the xp cap.. Coz else we're not going to play their game.

It would be interesting if the XP cap stayed as it was, but once we reached the cap we could only receive XP for challenges and commendations. That way, not only do people have a reason to play, but the idea of the XP cap, for people not to level up too quickly, is still present.

  4. Agreed. The implementation of skill levels, like in Halo 3 and previous Halo games, is something a large part of the community wants.

Hopefully, 343 will add this in an update. They've said that there is such a thing as a skill level, except it's not publicly visible. I believe you can see it on Halowaypoint or something.

Either way, making it visible would be a nice addition, indeed.

  5. Spartan Ops is pretty interesting. The idea of constant updates adds something new every week, keeping the game from getting repetitive. It's also quite fun to go through it with friends, like an extended version of the campaign.

I'm not really for the idea that it "replaced" firefight, because I enjoyed that, too :/ It'd be nice if they had firefight, as well.

It nets you a load of XP in multiplayer, but it's quite boring if you replay the missions over and over again, so there's pros and cons.

Also, it's a good way to get commendations for enemy kills and whatnot.

Oh, and the animated series that comes with the gameplay is cool, as well. I don't really know exactly where they're going with it, but it has potential to uncover some awesome Forerunner mysteries or something.

  6. To my knowledge, 343 doesn't answer on this forum, because it's purely a community forum.

Second of all, Halo is nowhere near a CoD remake. There might be some new implemented features that were in the previous CoD games, but that isn't necessarily bad.

And if you don't give any examples to why you don't like the game, and possible solutions to the problems, please don't bother posting.

Constructive criticism is always appreciated, though.

  7. For the campaign,

It felt like there could be some things to be fixed here and there, but it was overall good.

I liked how the story was a lot more personal than the usual "save the world by killing people" idea. It had some pretty solid emotional elements, as well.

It also gave a lot more insight on who Master Chief/Spartan117/John is, and his relationship with Cortana.

I completely understand the people that didn't like the story much, it's a matter of personal preference.

And as for the multiplayer, I think it's pretty awesome. Yeah, the higher ranked will have the privilege of getting some ordinance drops faster than normal players, but, from what I heard, 343 tried to make these advantages not completely overpower someone or anything. They still tried to make it overall balanced.

And the ordinance drops make it a lot more exciting, it makes matches different every time, instead of there always being a sniper in the exact same place, and everybody does the same tactics every match.

Either way, it's personal preference, I don't think there's much facts to really prove anything concerning Halo 4 multiplayer.

Bottom line, though, I like it quite a lot.
