The following information has been taken directly from https://forums.halow...ail-Thread.aspx
Some players that were eligible for the Specializations post-launch offer did not receive their fulfillment email due to having an invalid email address associated with their Xbox LIVE account. We are working to send affected players their codes via the Xbox LIVE Message Center (which is accessible on both web and console). The text will read as follows, and we expect players to start receiving these messages this week. Thank you for your continued patience, and we will provide an update when all messages have been sent.

I'm pretty sure this is just a fan site. Regardless, you'll need to go here
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst155922_The-Official-Specializations-Email-Thread.aspx
Unless someone has an up to date location to get this working, as I have not received my code either.

It's one-bomb assault, with nothing but gravity hammers and energy swords. 4v4

How about some information? A link to the clans website, if it has one. Something to potentially give me a reason to remove the frown (look above) that is currently on face.
-
I can't say it's true, but I can say that there are already grifball maps made, and they likely won't delve in to the community made ones right away.
-
Shameless self bump for all to see.
-
I can't believe those Stances require the weapon ones! They're so insane! 250 kills with every ord. weapon?!
Unfortunately it's more than that. It resets back to 0 with each new rank so it's 365, unless I'm worse at math than I thunk.
-
Modified griffball, I need it.

There's a reason that movies based off books are typically considered horrible in comparison to the book. Master Chief is the hero, and by giving him a single face, you remove alot of the sense of imagination/immersion that gamers can get when they play as Master Chief. You are in HIS visor, seeing what HE sees. You want that feeling of being HIM, and him having a shown face severely damages all ties of immersion players can get. His face is an orange visor, and it should never be more than that.

I posted this in MatchMaking but I think it fits better under general discussion.
I haven't been able to find a list anywhere stating how many kills/medals you need to complete the commendations and their ranks. The game guide has the full list, and I'm hoping it's up to date. I've typed all this out so that their is a list for people to look at. If this is useful for everyone, please request a sticky so it can be kept at the top for all to see.
If you're looking for a specific one don't forget to use ctrl+f for the find function.

SweatyBagels is right on the numbers. I'm looking at the guide book and it has all the commendation ranks in it.
If you have a gold membership it's pretty easy to find out. In the main menu press start, go up to commendations, vehicle, and splatter spree should be the first or second on the list.
If this looking at your progression in it then it doesn't show how much you will actually need for the remaining ranks.

Thanks for reminding about making this list, this topic put it back in my head. Haha.

For all the work u put into making the new and improved grifball and u only have it in custom gaming, and us grifball players are getting screwed in favor of oddball, flood, and team snipers??! Bulls*it!!!! Add grifball into matchmaking or im selling this crap game
It will come in matchmaking. Also, they don't care, they got your money.
And make it so the payout is the same as every other gametype, unlike the cheap **** we got in Reach.
If I remember right, as long as there wasn't one dumbass who thought he needed to score at the start of every match you could rack up a decent amount of credits.
-
Oh, you mean the Firepower ability thing. I use it on my favorite build. Having the AR as a backup off the bat is a big bonus.
-
I think it would be cool to have ammo ordnance drops as well as grenade and weapon drops.
This, this, this. For the love of god, ammo in ordnance. Maybe even a box of ammo for teammates to use. Anything, just for the love of god yes.
-
If you're trying to use the BR at long range, you're an idiot. If you're trying to use the DMR up close, you're ballsy.
-
ADDENDUM: I think it would also help if when looking at a players statistics you could view their Slayer K/D ratio separate from other game types wherein kills are not the objective. This would reduce the desire for players to jump into CTF games just to get easy kills on those putting in genuine effort to play CTF. With the reduced anxiety about dying too often, players would be able to fully enjoy the great objective based games Halo 4 offers.
So, uhh...like a 1-50 (NOT SAYING WE SHOULD COPY HALO 3) for different playlists. That sounds like a good idea. *wink wink*

Or add the other maps available, that might work too >.>
-
I think there are only 4 maps available for SWAT right now and the odds of it NOT being Haven suck. The other choices aren't fantastic either, I personally can't stand SWAT on Complex.
-
I'm a pony, and I approve this thread.
-
Yeah I felt it sounds a little too alienish if that makes sense.
It's too high pitched, so yea.
-
The graphics in the campaign are significantly better. I was iffy about it at first but the more you see and hear the more you start to be pleased with it. Just give it a little more time.
Except the BR. I love my BR, but I freaking hate the sound it makes.
-
Team SWAT - obvious
Have you checked the playlists today?
Team Tactical! - Short lived playlist from H3. Elimination-style games where you take a round-based approach with 4v4 play. You get 1 life per round. Last man standing earns a point for his/her team. (Personal favorite!)
You mean S&D?
Multi-Team - Since Team Doubles was exploited ad nauseum in H3, I would like to see unranked multi-team consisting of four to five teams of 2v2.
Didn't Halo 3 have something like this? I remember having a 2 man team playing Crazy King with multiple teams.
Whats the deal with being shot behind walls?

More than likely, you knew you ran behind cover. But on the hosts end your were just barely out of it, so you died.
