    I don't think Halo 4 Forge sucks, I just think that a few of the maps limit what players can accomplish. Honestly, I'm more than positive that they will add some bigger Forge maps in some future DLC. 343 would be smart to add one if they pay any attention the community at all. Also, Ravine,Impact and Erosion are quite lovely maps to create your own things.There are a lot of fun games that you could make with these maps and I feel like not enough people are really trying their best to think outside the box here.

  4. Halo 4 or Black Ops II?

    I enjoy both the Halo and COD games. If I had to break down the parts of the games that I liked it would be that I always love what the Halo campaigns have to offer. But, since this is a thread about Halo 4 I'll simply say that I'm most likely going to be replaying Halo 4 for the campaign,custom games and forge. I don't think War Games is that great at the moment until the playlist is updated and the bugs are fixed. I'd most likely play Black Ops 2 for zombies and multiplayer because I do enjoy fast paced game play. I'll play Black Ops 2's campaign but I know it won't be any where near as good as Halo's.

     

    I'm not trying to say which game is better, I'm simply pointing out the dislikes and likes of the games. I'm planning on playing them both and having fun either way. I love both games equally.

    I was glad they made it a quicktime event. I was playing Solo on Legendary and getting there was the biggest pain in the butt. If they do remove quicktime events from future Halo games then I'd suggest they move the bots around the map a bit more. I remember that when you got near the end of the game you had to go on those three.. or two platforms and the first one almost seemed near impossible for me to pass because there were so many knights in one area of the map.

    I usually throw numerous grenades at them because they'll always shield themselves from them, once they're doing that you can easily swoop in by the back and get the kill. Stickies are also great to use against them are pretty effective if you can get a couple on their backs.

    Funny thread seeing as it goes in a pattern as people say there are only three grenades and yet the other people continue to go on about there going to be another grenade. Honestly, I thought there was going to be a fourth when I was playing Campaign because the grenade bar in the top left corner looked pretty spacious. Even if there is another grenade type added in the future, I'm hoping it will be completely different and maybe find a use in Spartan Ops.

     

    If there isn't a new grenade added, I personally wouldn't mind. I just want original ideas when and if they plan on releasing them.

    For those who haven't completed the game.. I'll just add my own spoiler.

     

    I'm hoping they will be brought back together but I feel that if they were brought back together in Halo 5 it would just be like she never had left at all. It wouldn't really feel like she was ever gone in the first place. It would be like seeing your girlfriend after you just broke up with her, it'd be weird. I think they will do something with Cortana again, just not in the next Halo. That's my personal opinion at least.

     

     

    But come on now, let's not talk about another Halo just yet. Let's enjoy this game for all the glory it has to offer. The game just came out so it feels strange talking about what's already to come. I mean we may not see another Halo for another year or two.

    The game has just been released to the community.. I know some people have had the opportunity to play the game earlier before others but just give them time to go over everything that's wrong at the moment. I'm positive they're not just staring at all the issues laughing their butts off at the people who are having them. They're probably working hard on fixing these problems and I'm positive someone from 343 has been here. It's a pretty damn big community.

    I agree with this. Personally, I don't really enjoy joining mid-game even though it is to speed up matchmaking. I also like playing a game from start to finish just like you said. Sometimes you'll join a game and it's already finished, you didn't do anything at all, just wasted time waiting for players just to end up in a game that's near completion.

     

    Unfortunately, I don't think they would make mid-game join ins an "on and off" button. I'm not really sure how it would work though.. If you're talking about matchmaking it wouldn't make much sense to me because if you could just adjust mid-join options you'd pretty much be hosting a lobby. They wouldn't give a player the right to change the options in matchmaking.
