  1. Today I went on youtube as usual and clicken on a lyrics video with about 2.7k views. Normally, i wouldn't see and ad due to the limitation of views. But nope, The page refreshed and the page itself grew larger and I had to scroll for about 2 seconds past a blank youtube background screen to see the ad. It was 30 seconds long and I saw a sign saying "skip ad". I clicked it. This scenario happened for the next 5 videos, most of which not having more than 10k views. Then the button disapeared when i went to my next video to test. It was also not widely viewed. I didn't have an ad to be forced to watch. Apparently you have to pay to skip these ads, and those 5 ads i skipped were pretty much a free trial.

You are probaly annoyed by this, but think of it this way. When i had that skip ad option available, ads were on every single video I watched. That means if i bought, say, 10 more uses, EVERY video I would watch would have an ad i would otherwise might not have to watch in the first place.

i was struck with a 30 second ad. I would, before this bull****, be able to skip it after about 5 seconds, or be forced occasionally to watch a 15 second one. Now i HAVE TO purchase those worthless skip ad uses to skip them.

    What do you guys think?post-32226-0-67767200-1350850467.png

  2. Let me just go on record as stating, that Halo fans have just about the same amount of lame ass excuses as to why Halo is better than everything else also. Not one day goes by you don't here various large amounts of people spouting off reason like, "It's just better", or "In Halo it takes skill". These 2 examples are perspective and not a factual account of what would typically make one game better than another.

That beign said, CoD is a great franchise and was not meant in any way to play or ressemble Halo in any aspect, which is why it is nothing like it, and why Halo fans will always bash it. MW3 was the best MW of the bunch. Granted the campaign of MW2 was my personal fav, but MW3 brought the survival and mission sections that amused me for hours on end. Yes I did get Firefight with Halo, but as far as substance goes in terms of weapons and tactics, Survival has Firefight beat by a mile. Black Ops II looks to change how players see CoD by introducing elements we are not used to. The same type of changed happened when we shifted from the WWII genre of CoD to the more modern MW and Vietnam BO.

In short, neither game is truly better than the other. Only through personal choice, perspective and comfort of style can tell ONLY YOU what game is better for YOU. Don't listen to thousands of BS posts that try to tell someone different from you how YOU should feel about a game or which one is better.

Every idiot uses stupid arguments. Most intelligent people that criticize COD use the same (yet completely true) excuse. It never changes. Im not some moron blind to everything, i played every COD since the first. After WAW it stopped changing.. the illlusion of change comes from the 2 different companies that have slightly different engines, in which every time the respective companies makes a new game (once every 2 years, since they alternate the companies), the yearly release make people think the game actually change. Of course it changed, but almost every single change is cosmetic. Different guns, remodeled the same guns from last games with alternated soundbites (44 magnum with exact sound of desert eagle). The only thing that truely changes are the perks and movement speed (ever so slightly). Everything else is simply the companies' engines that dont change. For example, treyarchs games are slightly faster paced since the movement speed is higher then infinity wards', meanwhile perks and killstreaks are more valuable in infinity ward (my opinion).

Basically, we dont hate COD's gameplay, but that it never changes. Im not saying change it completely, but keep it similar with new tweaks that alter gameplay (Ex. armor abilities in reach) and see what the community thinks. I would think for yearly releases such as the COD series they could make about 2-3 games that are similar in gameplay but changed to see distinguishable gameplay differences and then A majorly revamped sequel. A new game like this would offer an oppurtunity to start a new singleplayer, along with heavily changing the gameplay based on feedback from the community.

  3. Honestly, I dont see the big deal. It's the internet.Whoever minds some guy playing as A girl clearly dont have enough experience on the internet to actually form an opinion. If A guy wants to play as A woman for whatever reason why do we have to mind? It's not real life or anything, so we should just let them be.

  4. sorry to depress you man, but every COD game is the same. It's like rule 34 in a way... NO EXCEPTIONS. Every COD game has some new gimmick that "improves gameplay". All the tech in the game, like the drones and whatnot, will be minor killstreaks, that really dont make a difference from the last game... Trust me, if you wanna save your money, dont buy, unless you somehow like this godforsaken series... but yeah, save for christmas if you want :P

  5. Honestly... knowing halo's reputation for these little things.. (master chief face shots, that just gave us a very small and limited view on his face) it could go either way.... could just be a small thing that they just put in for 'teh lulz' or it could be an actual big part of the story, like maybe the 6 year old statement was just a lie, and Lasky's bro was one of the subjects.... either way I cant wait for the next episode

  6. Hiya everyone! Just discovered the magic of these forums. Definitley planning on being a regular. But yeah, I'm.. ermm... kind of addicted to games now. Warhammer, world of tanks, halo... yeah, I play alot. But yeah, if any of you wanna play sometime just hit me up. Gamertag is DJ Jazzy Jezus, and I leave you with this!

  7. Bioware has a good reputation in my books. Other then dragon age 2, SWTOR's horrible lack of updates, and ME3's cliffhanger-esque ending im satisfied. The changes in every mass effect game gameplay wise were positive in my books, and I have confidence that bioware wont screw up the story again. These screw ups are what makes a game company good, And i think bioware is getting their **** together. But in all honesty, I freaking hate EA... Activision too.

  8. Honestly, both are bad. I, honestly, support Obama though. Mitt Romney sais that he would increase taxes on lower classes, and lower them for the rich. I cant afford any more. Im barely scraping enough money as it is for entertainment. And Obama inherited a horrible position when he took office. The country didn't turn into a ****hole, and i know times are tough. I know Obama isn't the best president ever, but I dont want to take a chance with Rommney

  9. I'm certain what he's trying to say is, he shouldn't HAVE to do that just to play it.

well I took common sense basics and I noticed that was what he was saying (no offense, just dont like people thinking I didn't see the purpose of one's comment before replying to it, im sentient) But honestly, It shouldn't matter. People without live know the consequences when they buy a multiplayer focused game, especially in this day and age.
  10. Honestly, I never thought any change to halo was bad. I loved halo wars, since I was always a strategy fan, and I enjoyed reach. I actually consider halo reach my favorite game of all time. And with the mechanics We've seen so far in the gameplay, combined with 343's fantastic job on CE, I have no worries for the next installment of this beloved trilogy.

BTW 343 is the exact number of firefighters who died on 9/11. Just saiyan

  11. S.S.D.S. Same S*** Different Size. I know people who work at apple. There are a few improvements, like fixing a few bugs on the 4S, among others, but its not worth the gigantic chunk of money. The iphone5 is just a cashcow yearly release, that prey off of customers who are kids who buy them because it's cool and #YOLO, and adults who barely researched the topic. Sure there are improvements, but the pricejump is stupendous

  12. What do you mean? Why it ruined our fun? Because we don't have all Gold accounts. I don't play too much online, and nor my brothers do. So, we keep only one account to get all the DLCs and stuff. Why should we pay 60€ every year for keeping an account that we almost never use?

So, we were having fun playing the Firefight mode.

Is that a problem? Maybe they don't get enough money from the game and future DLCs?

Firefight was innovative, but It got stale. And 60 for a year isnt bad at all. I can see where your coming from with the brothers (if you still live with your parents), thats a larger chunk of money. But really, if your that good of a halo fan you can find a way. Keep one gold account, play online with your friends/brothers as guests, that works out fine. Sure it may not be the best system, but hey, "Life's a piece a' ****, when you look at it!" Also, if you dont play that much you should not be that concerned. The campaign will always have replayability, I played that campaign mode all the way up to 2010 with every game I have ever played for my consoles.
