  1. Well in case a poster takes too much time posting a riddle, someone else will be allowed to post one. A 3 day period without the previous 'winner' poster posting a riddle should be suitabel. And oh, I'll be changing the score to 10. 20 is kind of much, and considering other members should be allowed to win an (unannounced) award, it'll be easier this way! :)

    Official Award:

    Riddler-icon.png

Ladies and Gentleman! Spartans and Elites!

Please have a sit and listen to me,

telling something about Jackals and Brutes,

    about guns and wars,

    the oddies and the weird,

    about anything I have jeered.

You know who am I? I'm the very best in this center of the galaxy,

the Jester of this ring, or maybe just a clown.

What day is today? Topsy turvey, ye may say....

Here i am just to amuse the audience, with some short tiny riddles

about anything of The Halo World:

May it be guns and vehicles,

    powerful weapons, people, or

quests, monsters, terminals, places, insanity......aaaanything ye like!

Guess rightly to the puzzle, and thou may collect point. Then it's your turn!

Those of ye good in poetry may rhyme another riddle, but those who are not.....they may riddle the same...who cares?

When thou reach 20 points...You win!

And what a winner wins? Well a shiny award of course! Well not yet really! If people join and play, more famous it may get, and a challenge you may eventually have!

    Any question, tell please

but now it's the time for my first quiz:

I'm seen most on the ground, when I should be up. I'm named after a season, but the only rain I bring is gunfire. I've known almost every main character in this war personally.

And before I forget, kudos to Chewin3 for helping me out with this thread!

  3. A great deal of attention is paid this time around not to the humans struggling for survival and / or Earth's fate that Halo:CE established, but instead it focused to the Covenant and their political upheaval within their ranks. You spent the first game indiscriminately fighting Covenants--yet now you're expected to be sympathetic to them and their hatred for humankind. While it may have added some complexity to the plot seeing it from the Covenant's perspective, it's abrupt implementation is what made it poor.

While I found the "Covenant side story" quite fascinating and a good idea from a plot point of view, I do agree that it's sudden premise made i bizarre, and I remember it led to a quite a fan rage by people (Mostly concerning playing as Arbiter and taking away the Earth experience).

Though it was better that they did this in Halo 2, rather than in Halo 3.
