    The Vanguards of Sanghelios is a Halo: Reach based clan, we value discipline, loyalty, and honor. If you are interested in joining, or you want more information, contact the gamertag " Zytan Vodaree " or " Anma Lyduree ".  If you are the leader of a sangheili clan and you're interested in an alliance or a merge, message either of the previously listed gamertags or the gamertag " Onma Aerusee " (A.K.A. me). I am normally only active on the weekends but the other two are online more often.

     

    (P.S. we absolutely will not ally or merge with spartan clans of any kind, so don't bother asking if you're a spartan based organization.)

     

    Please do not post on this thread, I will not be responding to any posts made here because I don't have the time to get on the forums that often.

    Update:

     

    The Mercenaries will hopefully have a website up soon, I will be posting a link to it in the OP.

     

    Once the site is up it will allow members to advertise there services to potential employers. Until then, check in with me every once-in-a-while to see if I have any jobs available.

    To all the other members (of the Mercenaries): I'm sorry that I haven't done anything yet with the group, I've been busy with school and other personal activities. I hope to host a lobby with all current members just to discuss topics of interest and better organize everything.

    The Didact can't be composed because in one of the terminals he mentions how he tried to go through procedures that would make it impossible for the flood to consume him. He says those tests failed, and when a promethean recommends he should compose himself, the Didact says the Composer will no longer work on him. So he went through the slip space portal, but he wasn't composed.

     

    Oh, ok. I haven't found all the terminals and even if I do I don't plan on watching them. Thanks for the info.

    I had thought that the slip space portal was being used as a power source for the composer. Saying that, wouldn't the portal lead into the composer? If so, Wouldn't that mean that the Didact got Composed? No killed, turned into a digital form or his former self.

    Thank you, Reaper. And do we HAVE to have the Mercenary service tag (whatever it is, I've forgotten), or can we keep our own?

     

    You can keep your own service tag, the change is only recommended to help potential employers.

     

    Hello there, I'd like to check you guys out first before I decide to join or not...assuming that's okay. My XBL is ThePraetorian92. I'm really just looking for a fun group of people to play Halo 4 with and if you could use me, I'd love to help out with clan battles and the like. Current stats: kills/deaths: 2966/2263 and I have 941 assists. Games played: 223 (won 96). I'm mostly a sniper and vehicle play style, but I can hold my own in close combat. If you'd like, feel free to add my xbl and we can talk more after we run together a little.

     

    I look forward to fighting with and/or beside you in the future, all player of any skill level are welcome. If you enjoy the concept you can stay if not you are free to leave.

    To all those who have been waiting to hear from me, I've been sick for a while and I have school so I haven't been able to get on XBL recently. I will be online as soon as I can though, don't think I forgot about you guys/girls.

    ...put in a Classic mode for the die hard Halo fans who really appreciated the previous modes...

     

    As a "die hard Halo fan" (10+ years of playing Halo) I think that the Halo series needed new game modes. Yes, the old game modes are/were fun but eventually the old game types got boring. New maps, gametypes, spawning, etc. is exactly what Halo needed to get people interested in it again. I'm not saying that a Classic mode is a bad idea, I'm just saying that not all "die hard" Halo fans want everything to stay the same, thats how games end up like C.o.D.

    Thanks ill give that a shot and see how it treats me. And no fast traveling is VERY hardcore. But mostly annoying. It makes me really pay attention to what fills up my inventory. Also just getting anywhere is an adventure. Took me almost 30 minutes real time to make it from whiterun to solitude.

     

    Then comes the not saving. I travel as light as possible saving only when the game auto saves for me. Makes the dangers a lot more real. Ran into a hagraven at level 8 and he sent me packing. No choice but to come back later when I'm stronger.

     

    All the things I'm doing add dynamics sure but for the most part it's just annoying or frustrating... But I'm hanging with it. I'm really trying to immerse myself in it but...

     

    Frustrating and immesive are two completely different things, If you cannot enjoy the game without becoming frustrated then it will be harder to be immersed in the game's world. Don't just try to make it harder, try to make it more enjoyable. On the other hand, if you like the challenge of the game, you will most likelt become immersed through the frustrating situatuations.

    i never said they were. I didnt make a team to pretend they were. i made it for fun. and plus i never heard of u guys at all. so im assuming u all arnt hot enough

     

    Actually, as a former member of the FoRJ, I can say that it is quite a large fleet. Or at least was the last time I checked. Also, how about you two stop arguing before this escalates into something you'll both regret.

    ...Clans used to be cool MM gatherings....

     

    This is what Im trying to recreate with the Mercenaries. You can be in one of two groups, one for the people who like having fun and playing with people they know and respect, and one for the people who want to stay with the stricter clans but are not currently in one. There are no changes that need to be made, the only thing that is recommended, not required, is that you change your service tag to your corresponding group.

    I say things when I need to. As of right now there isn't much that needs to be said.

     

    Angel of Death, I would like to make an arrangemt with you. Any members of your group that are looking for a clan shall be accepted Into mine. I will allow them to keep in contact with you and your members this will be completely b their own choice, Im not forcing them. Its is up to you to accept or decline my offer and either way I thank you for your time

     

    As I may (or may not?) have mentioned, I am willing to make arrangments with any clan, group, organization, etc. Add me as a friend on XBL and you will have your choice of members. I have a previous arrangment with another clan that allows them to take first pick of the members though, so you will have a slight limitation.
