  1. My deepest sincerity goes out to Airman Ortiz's family and you, DevilDog. You fought well for your country, rest in piece Airman Ortiz. I feel as if this affects me, as I've grown up in a Military family. I too will be carrying on that honor, I will be joining the US Army this fall.

  2. I have finished all of the badges, or at least the user groups that actually have people in them.

I did not do a "Trainer" badge simply because there's no one in that user group.

Nor did I do a banned badge, as such users obviously don't deserve a badge.

    Have a good one.

  3. I have a question how do you post a link to the picture that you create in the GIMP?

You must flatten the image and save it, I recommend the .png file format for the highest quality.

You then will need to upload the image to an image hosting service, such as photobucket, imageshack, or tinypic.

    Umm.. what is GIMP?

This is covered in the bottom section of the thread:

GIMP, short for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It's a program that is popular for many uses, there are a lot of tools available for use in GIMP, you can complete image manipulations in GIMP, and other smaller projects, it's not meant for just one purpose.

    Have a good one.

  4. You have far more talent that I ever will and I can only see you getting better and better. Looks good so far.

That's just it, that's the only thing that aspiring designers should focus on, practice and execution.

There are several factors that come into play in order to have a successful final piece, unfortunately I have seen several designers up and quit out of no where even though they are far more talented than what I ever considered myself to be. I still have several things I need to work on, but I'm definitely not going to despondent you. I'm always here if you need feedback and/or help on a piece, I'd be more than happy to contribute. Unfortunately, I will not be able to be a permanent member of this community, as come winter of this year I'm joining the US Army.

    Have a good one.
