Banshees are back we know that for sure, possibly Falcons and maybe Hornets. That's an uknown still. But interestingly enough I'm not sure if this is a vehicle and I'm guessing it's not but we will definitely be seeing this at some point in the campaign:

You see this flying object at 2:13 into the live action video.

I have seen pics of the falcons. i am not impressed, i don't like them they are going back in tech and hornets and pelicans are much better. I want to drive the pelican at some point. Infinity would be fun to fly because it is huge. idk if it is as big as a covenant assault carrier but it is still big.

Multiple falcons vs a hornet? Yeah the falcons would win, but on a 1v1 the falcon is doomed if the hornet has its full armament (not the avalanche version.)

it all depends on the pilots and gunners of the vehicles. and im hoping that the falcon has a front gun like in the reach campaign.

A normal hornet (with strong missles that lock on and deadly machine guns) with two passengers with Spartan Lasers vs a Falcon with a front mounted gun for the driver and two grenade launcher turrets. Hornet wins no matter what, even if the hornet passengers didn't have such strong weapons, its lock on missles would tear through a falcon.

Falcon has nose gun, and side turrets both AGL and MG which turn 190 degrees, a hornet has dual machine gun cannons and locked on rocket pods which are 1/4 as strong as a rocket and it has 2 passengers that can only see 150 degrees angle, which won't help much head on head combat. Therefore falcon would win, also falcons can outfly rocket pods.

Actually he was talking about in Multiplayer, which the Falcon does not have a nose gun in any Multiplayer variant. Plus, a 1v1 means one player vs one player. Which means all the Falcon could do is fly.

If we are talking about both vehicles in campaign mode, however, the Hornet would still win. In the campaign, the Falcon has a nose gun and two turrets (which require three people in the Falcon to use all weapons). The Hornet has a nose turret and chaf pods and can have "wingmen".

In a 1 player vs 1 player battle, the Falcon and the Hornet would be pretty evenly matched, but the Hornet has an advantage due to the chaf pods. In a 3v3 match, the Hornet would also have the advantage, because it could use any weapon that it's wingmen had (i.e. Splaser, Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle, etc.) including it's turret and chaf pods while the Falcon would be stuck with three turrets.

Hornet has a slow lift rate and has to face the target in order to engage, a falcon has a faster lift rate and can shoot down or up while lifting or declining. Also, MM doesn't matter, it contains the stupid version, campaign has the real version. Hornets wingmen aren't that good either, they usually carry rockets or lasers that are used against any personell or vehicle the honet doesn't see, while a falcons wingmen are anti air, (light and light/heavy) vehicle and anti personel

Hornet is by far more maneauverable then the falcon, the falcon is only faster. Not fast enough to outrun a rocket.

Or two rockets. Fired from both sides of the hornet, where the only blind spot is the rear. And hornets can turn around faster as well. If both wingmen have rocket launchers, the Falcon has no chance. Especially since in both Halo 3 AND Reach rockets were able to lock onto aircraft.

Since everyone is being an ass and saying stuff about rockets. we'll nerf the hornet in MM and have it like the falcon. Falcon has no nose gun, and hornet is missing chaff pods and rocket pods. What'd win?

In a quantitatively fair fight, Hornet wins every time.

A Falcon with an operable nose machine gun, and two manned machine gun / grenade launcher turrets still gets destroyed with one shot from a Spartan Laser, and there are 8 chances to be hit, so the odds are stacked enormously against the Falcon.

Alright then, if the hornet is better why is 343i putting in the falcon in halo 4? Hornet hasn't been confirmed
