On the PC version of the game, the cutscene can be viewed in a free roam view with some minor tweaking and modifying. The standard 1 disk edition, the 2 disk limited special edition with tin case and the legendary 3 disk edition with a spartan helmet. Yes you can find it by modding. Did you know that there's no death animation for it so when you kill it it just freezes? Didn't watch the end of the video so it probably shows that doesn't it... Victory Element Posted May 3, 2012 Report Share Posted May 3, 2012 the forerunners thought that they were to inherit the mantle from the precursors but it was revealed by the Primordial(or timeless one) that the mantle was meant for the humans and "they would be tested by floods". the primordial also revealed that the flood and the precursors are the same being, so i think that the flood is an early form of the precursor species because the rings were fired so they would have to evolve again from scratch. The architecture in Halo is very similar to Jjaro architecture - the Jjaro were an equally ancient race in Marathon. Cortana claims the Master Chief has "gone rampant" if he shoots the Captain - Rampancy being a key concept in Marathon. Cortana also shows signs of Rampancy (arrogance and distain of humans) once installed into Halo's control systems. According to Marathon, installing an AI to a large computer system (as Halo's obviously must be) could cause an AI to become Rampant. Marines will occasionally refer to you as a "Mark Five". Marathon's main character was a Mjolnir Mark IV cyborg, and the Master Chief wears Mjolnir Mark V armor.
