Specifically, the Xbox Store is apparently getting a major overhaul as part of a new firmware update in the future. Codenamed "Project Mercury" according to Thurott, the re-design initially leaked via screenshots posted by @wincommunity on Twitter. The images and video showcase the app running on PC, but noted Microsoft insider Brad Sams says this is an update for Xbox, not Windows. Sams got his hands on the new Xbox Store re-design, and you can check out the video below to see it in action. It looks sleek and easy to use, which is good considering the Xbox dashboard has historically been known to be somewhat unwieldy.
