343iBot
Halo Infinite developer 343 Industries has posted its latest behind-the-scenes video that shows how the audio team captured sounds for the next-generation Halo game. The team used the industrial explosives ANFO and TNT to capture sounds for the game. They planted the charges six feet underground inside of barrels that were blown to bits, leaving giant smoke plumes and pieces of the barrels launching high into the sky and crashing back down to Earth. To create these sounds, charges of ANFO and TNT were buried under 6ft of dirt, barrels were launched or blown apart, and so much more. Be sure to give it a listen! #halo #xbox #343industries #HaloInfinite #sounddesign #fieldrecording A post shared by Halo (@halo) on May 30, 2020 at 6:01am PDT Continue Reading at GameSpotView the full article
