Because he fired the halos from outside the galaxy from the ark and maybe went on this "great journey" maybe this great joiner is to the place chief is going... However, the brevet mutation that the Didact performed on Bornstellar passed on all of his memories to Bornstellar. It was a dillema that Bornstellar had been facing since the mutation but he wasn't sure exactly what was happening to him. At the end of Cryptum, Bornstellar realized that the memories he was having were actually the Didact's. When Bornstellar approached the Librarian, he embraced her saying something along the lines of "My wife, I've missed you". In a sense, he had become the Didact only in Bornstellar's body. M4sT3r Ch13f S117 Posted November 19, 2011 Report Share Posted November 19, 2011 It is a possibility the didact was the forerunner who disliked the idea of the halo arrays he had said that he found a cure for the flood but no one would listen to him.
