How to Halo MCC System Link LAN?

So we have 4 Xbox One's in a house together and we've been trying to figure out how to system link our Xbox's to play Halo MCC. Does anyone know how to get this to work or where to go to find the answer? We can connect to Xbox Live, and we have Xbox Gold. We have a router to connect them all. We're all here and ready, so quickness with an answer would be greatly appreciated. If you need more info that I haven't provided, let me know!

I'm not sure how to get the existing LAN to work, but you might be able to fudge it by setting up a custom game over xbox live, and then sending the other people invites. It'll technically be an xbox live match, but it will be the same as a LAN game.

See, our next problem is that most of the time, we have a problem with not being able to see friends over XBL within the MCC game. And when we can see them we always fail to connect to host. This is probably an XBL issue or a 343i issue. We've been trying many different scenarios all night. Nothing seems to work. We're trying having a friend go home and being the host network.
