Flippant Sol Posted July 2, 2013 Report Share Posted July 2, 2013 I've been waiting for a mainstream live tile to pop up on my Xbox 360 since June 23rd, and I'm still waiting for Halo 3? What Happened? Where is it? I learned about the two free games on June 18, and I learned today that they will only be available for half a month? Well what the heck, I just want Halo 3, why can't the first two games be for full month, so that everybody can get them? What a load of lumber!! Well it's only one at a time it's been Fable 3 and the new one is Defense Grid: The Awakening, which will be available until July 15th. I actually like this thing that Microsoft's doing. It's a nice thing to do for the community. Although cancelling Halo 3 and AC2 was a dumb move. Spectral Jester Posted July 2, 2013 Report Share Posted July 2, 2013 No they haven't cancelled it, they didnt say WHEN Halo 3 and AC2 would be part of the deal, this goes on till Christmas, 2 games a month, first one available 1st of the month, 2nd one becomes available 15th/16th of the month. "Dumb move" - - Yes, I agree, but here is the problem. People complained. People complained loud. "Why are we getting such old games?" A dumb move but an unsurprising one. Unsurprising in the sense that once again they "listened" to the community, who complained about the games they were giving for free being old? No they haven't cancelled it, they didnt say WHEN Halo 3 and AC2 would be part of the deal, this goes on till Christmas, 2 games a month, first one available 1st of the month, 2nd one becomes available 15th/16th of the month. How will I have enough time to complete each game and still complete the ones I already owned before, AND complete the new ones I buy down the road?!... Said no one ever.
