You're getting a skill based system this month. It's viewable on waypoint but it is playlist specific. Like Halo 3.

If they leave it at SR 130 then the playerbase will die out fast.

 

Alot of people have hit that mark already, 343 have made it too easy to level up. Giving put XP every game? its stupid, you could AFK you're way to 130 if you had the time.

 

I saw my first 5 star general on halo 3 two years after it had launched, Infact that was one of the only ones I had ever seen. Thats what leveling should be like, bloody hard.

 

I might just be getting nostalgic but 343 did a poor job on the ranking system, here is hoping this update I hear so much about can fix these issues.

Also, the 1-50 system is coming out this month. There has been no official word on raising the SR-130 cap, but I find it hard to believe that they stop at 130. I would put money down on the fact that they raise that cap even more.
