Lag Lag Lag

Is it just me or is there an extreme amount of lag in this game? Seriously. It seems like every third game I get in is non-stop lag. I love this game so far but my god, I find it so irratating to play when I keep hopping around because of lag.

 

Has 343 addressed this? I've looked online and its not just me experiencing all of this. Could it be to the new christmas traffic or is 343 just not as good as bungie (true)?

If its unplayable quit. Play or don't nobody cares. Yes there's lag. Yes the DMR and BS are OP. okay the game wasn't what you expected just quit with the annoying threads about the COMPLETELY OBVIOUS. It's annoying. Beyond words that nobody can change these things here anyway. And if you say that you just wanted to see if anyone agreed with you you could've read anyone of the dozens of threads people make about the same stupid crap.

 

Is bungie better than 343? Seriously guy? 343 made two games! And one was a remake for Christs sake! Wow... Just wow...

 

Ahem. I do apologize forthwith for my statement. I see you're new here. But seriously. Take some time to look around and familiarize yourself before posting the same thread. The answer to your existing questions and comments is no doubt out there. Again sorry for hammering you but the point is the same. Welcome to the forums.

And that's why I APOLOGIZED. As that you're new here. This has been an ongoing thing here since November 6th. MLG vs Casual. DMR buff or nerf. Boltshot being over powered. The whole "lag" issue. It's just getting so old that nobody can find anything else to talk about...

 

If we understand its a problem already why bring it up again? You're new and you obviously weren't trying to spam anyone. That's why I said sorry.

 

Wasn't being a dewshbag. Lol. I had every right to say that if you had known what these forums were and what they became after november 6th. It's just sad really. There's still some devoted people who make logical points. I'm not even saying I agree with them all but they are logical. And they see the other sides of the dice.

YES WE KNOW THERE'S LAG ISSUES. It is most likely a server issue at 343. What they are doing to fix said problem is beyond me. No I don't work there. I'm just a regular guy playing for the love of the game ( not the bitching part ) and I don't really care much for whining or crying on forums. Not targeted at you in any way friend. Just saying.

 

Will they fix it? I'm sure something is in the works. Is bungie better than 343? Seems a little trivial now doesn't it?

Sorry, I don't see how your apology holds any water. What you're saying is essentially like me punching you in the face and then saying sorry and not understanding why you retaliated afterwards. Great logic there buddy. Whats the point of having a community forum if the community can't openly come and discuss whats on their mind? Seems like thats the point of this thing.

I accept your apology. I forgot that this game has been out for a while, but honestly 343 needs to pick up the slack. Putting out a game with this many obvious lag issues is really not cool and kind of a **** you to the community. They were entrusted with the legacy that is halo and they're already making some pretty big slip-ups.

I would hope you'd reconsider leaving the forums. I had a hard time here when I started out arguing with this guy who COMPLETELY didn't care how to argue or what was tactful.

 

And I was a hot head (who knew?) who didn't know how to let things go. I try and curb that now. Even if I do get frustrated at people who complain repeatedly at the same thing. But this isn't you. You're not that guy and I was out of line suggesting that you were. Don't let one bad apple (me) ruin the experience you could have.

 

Many forum members are very knowledgable and can offer great advice to any number of questions you have.

 

Also since this is the first game in a new trilogy, I'm sure this site will get much more use for games to come. Not to mention the wealth of knowledge at your disposal is invaluable. And other users aren't so black and white as me.

Well to bring it back on topic in hopes that they don't lock for a misunderstanding, yes I hope they solve their issues with the servers too. I don't expect perfection but I do expect a playable game. What's the point of everything to be so polished and clean if you can't enjoy it? Most of the time if the game is that unplayable I'll quit and try again. But I like to hang in there. Sometimes they just come in little unpredictable hiccups.
