I honestly never watched much of I Love Lucy, but I know how it impacted many of the sitcoms that came after it. Not to mention all the people it touched and influenced in their everyday lives. Perhaps it's silly, but the first time I ever heard anything about the show was from an interview with Nirvana back in the early 90's. Krist, Dave and Kurt were trying to explain to the interviewer about something and quoted Lucy. Suppose what they were trying to explain was how they never explained anything. Krist (imitating Ricky): "Lucy! Ju got some 'splainin' to do!" Kurt: "...But Lucy never did." Dave (imitating Lucy): "Rickyyy waaaah!"
