Popular Post Choot 'em Posted July 30, 2012 Popular Post Report Share Posted July 30, 2012 So I was going through alot of old Halo 4 news and information today when I noticed something rather peculiar when I went to www.xbox.com/halo4. It was something that had never caught my attention before and found it rather interesting. Now I know Halo 4 has been advertised on xbox.com for quite a while now but I don't recall anyone ever posting about this information. If someone already has, then I apologize in advance for the duplication. Image of www.xbox.com/halo4 I am assuming the background to be the deck of the UNSC Infinity. Notice the 4 monitors doing there usual maintenance (3 on the right and 1 on the left). I have highlighted the monitors. Now being displayed on the screens of these monitors are 4 different .gifs playing in a random order on each monitor. Now those are just normal .gifs that are inserted in the source code to be displayed for the web page. There is however a fifth .gif not embedded in the source code which is why I'm posting this topic. A rather peculiar .gif, if I might say. I have even gone to the lengths of breaking it apart and grabbing each individual frame below. To save room, I will post as a spoiler. The .gif consists of 64 frames so I just added one of the last few images of the forerunner symbol. With the cryptum in the start of the campaign we might be meeting some forerunner. The numbers are 4657.04.21.21.34.56 I wonder do they mean anything or are they just there for decoration? fzdw11 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Share Posted July 30, 2012 So the numbers, 4657.04.21.21.34.56.... coincidence that Terminals 1, 4 & 9 from CEA all have the same last 5 sets of digits? Each of those terminals has the numbers 044657.04.21.21.34.56. The difference being in the first set of numbers. I don't know if they've ever been determined what they are. So then we can assume that the unseen numbers here are "04". 044675.04.21.21.34.56] - same as the terminal Didn't these numbers also have something to do with the SIR thread as well? The fact that they're appearing again makes me believe there's more too them than we currently know. 343 is very frustrating, I want more information! Can't be dates, we've already discussed that in another thread. If they are dates, the timelines don't make sense. Alot of people are assuming the enemy in H4 and this symbol is reference to the Didact but I don't think it is. The symbol is similar but it is upside down. Didact's symbol as seen in CEA terminal - The image in the gif and at the end of the trailer has the solid hex in the center and the line is on top. With that in mind, I believe whoever is on Requiem in the Cryptum is the complete opposite of Didact...... which tells me Faber. Just my opinion. Still in all, very interesting that 343 would embed the gif on the official Halo 4 page. I am still attempting to break apart the audio. He either has gone insane or grown desperate after being here for so long with no outside contact, or someone wants to seem as terrifying as the Didact must have been. Maybe it has to do with the Didact becoming rampant or something?? or it could possibly be altered to show that its not the original Didact.
