  1. July 2014 (CE3 2014 Demo) March 2015 (Current Build) Before I get started, I want to say that past recruitment from this site has been great, with the help of talent we picked up here Installation 01 has gone from a concept build in July 2014 (CE3 2014) to the sexiness you see up above. (note: the BR is a placeholder model) We’ve been delayed by massive reworkings of the game itself for greater stability and modularity, critical elements in a community-oriented game. Being a fan team, we can’t make any money, not even from donations, so we are doing this in our spare time. Professionals, students, and passionate Halo fans coming together with whatever free hours they have. We are making something that we’ve craved for a long time, a full Halo game for PC, Linux, and Mac, boasting classic gameplay and game modes from multiple Halo titles, all bundled into a shiny package of modern graphics. Positions we need filled so this project moves faster: Programmers: • Proficient in C#. • Unity or other comparable game experience. • Capable of using Github. • Willingness to communicate well with our senior engineers. • A team player. Artists: -2D- • Knowledge of GIMP, Photoshop, or any other comparable 2D graphics program. Largely needed for UI and texture work. • Willing to work on assigned projects within their deadlines. (we aren’t super hardcore about this, but this is more about not signing up for anything you know you can’t finish on time). • Knowledge of 3D modeling is a plus, but not required. -3D- • Skills with any widely used 3D modeling software, such as Blender, Max, or Maya. Zbrush is also • welcomed. • Work within deadlines (once again, we don’t have a lot of deadlines, just know your limits) • Be comfortable with assigned tasks from senior modelers. • Doesn't matter if you prefer environmental, structural, or organic modeling, we need you. • Knowing how to texture models well is a plus, but is not required. Sound and recording: • Own/have constant access to professional sound equipment and software. • Have experience with sound design for games or professional videos. • Willingness to adapt to whatever is needed at the moment. (voice, gun shots, birdsong, etc.) If you wish to help out as any of those roles, just comment here about it and one of the team members will get back to you soon NOTE: We are abiding by Microsoft’s Fair Use Policy, hence why we cannot make any money off the project, and why we must build everything ourselves, we cannot distribute “rips” of any kind from any Halo game. This is a community project, there is no chance for profit, the only reward for our devs is that they have the satisfaction of making a small dream into reality. Thanks for reading, here’s some more eye candy:
  2. Five new screenshots showing cop chases, possible hijacking and a Bi-Plane. READ BELOW FOR DETAILS FROM: http://www.g4tv.com/ BY: Stephen Johnson More Grand Theft Auto 5 screenshots have hit the internet, and Rockstar has saved the best for last. As you can see above, we'll even get to tool around in a bi-plane/crop-duster. Click the cut for some other shots revealing different things you'll be able to do in GTA 5, including clutching onto the side of a car carrier truck, shooting at helicopters with a laser-scoped rifle, and tooling around in a killer hoon while a chopper chases you. . Check back in a bit for a full gallery of all 10 of this week's new Grand Theft Auto 5 screenshots.

  5. Phil Spencer has announced instant screenshot sharing for the Xbox One. Phil Spencer has taken to Twitter to reply to a fan, here's the full conversation: Jamie Marris: @XboxP3 any plans to bring the ability to share in game screenshots to say social networks? I.e twitter? Phil Spencer: @jmarris09 Yea, this is the list for the monthly updates, team is making great progress on the updates. More features to come. Now which social networking platforms this will land on is unknown at this time, but it will likely have Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Players already have the ability to stream gameplay through Twitter and even upload gameplay directly to YouTube, but this will give players yet another option to share their Xbox One experience. This will likely come as just a small update, and likely will not be part of the larger update coming in June. The update coming in June will be massive, and if you've yet to read about it, you can do so HERE. What do you think of this update? Are you looking forward to all of these updates coming to the Xbox One? Be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments below. SOURCE:TWITTER

  8. This is an idea thats been rolling around in my head since i saw the Forging The Future's image on their topic and i got to thinking what if i made a whole novel themed around halo... but used screenshots from the game and my own image editing ability and this is the first page result... kinda poor quality but it's more or les just a concept right now. Please leave feedback as to if you'd like to see a cleaner version of this and more or otherthings that could be improved on.
  9. I have been working on an asymmetric Dominion map named Kostal Kombat. There are 4 Bases (The map layout allows 4 bases without the gameplay suffering). Each base has a trait zone around it that gives a different effect, Alpha gives Speed boost, Bravo gives Damage boost, Charlie gives Overshields, and Delta gives an enhanced radar. The map is highly asymmetric with a lot of verticality, and will support up to 8v8 matches (5v5 or 6v6 is recommended). As you can see from the screenshots, the map has several routes to each base, as well as plenty of opportunities for risk/reward. The map is still in the works, but I will soon be posting a download link.
  10. I am posting this to the forums because I can not understand for the life of me why I can not access my fileshare on xbl from halo4 on this site. I don't think I am the only one experiencing, and I really have to say I am just speechless that 343 rolled out Halo 4 and the 343 community without having this issue clearly resolved. Can someone tell me what is the status on making the fileshare available from my xbl account? I am getting tired of taking pictures of my maps from the forge with my phone and my flat screen. Why is there so much silence on this important issue!!?? CV
