  1. At first it seems like this map takes place in some snowy mountains. but just like the map's name already hints: the core of this mountain is indeed melted. So you basically have to environments on this map which play completely different. The melted core is more an arena-area. Especially in slayer this is the place to be. The objective gameplay, or actual BTB-stuff is going on the outside-area that's circling this mountain. There is a Incineration Cannon in the map's center. On the left and right sight you find two lookouts - red and blue - each equipped with a Railgun-Weaponpad. And of course there are two bases embedded into the snow. Here you can restock you ammo, grab a BR or even better: Take the Mantis for a ride. I hope you'll enjoy this map. Also there is always space fore improvements. So you feedback is very welcome
  2. Paintball style battlefield that works very well with BTB game modes. This map is located inside the Glacier cave. This is being submitted to the MYM BTB contest There are a lot of varying streets that keep the battle different throughout the map, and many buildings to utilize for combat and quick movement across the battlefield. It has good symmetry because I used a very precise method to make it perfectly symmetrical! I worked just over a week adjusting things to my preference. I was focusing on vehicle smoothness in the terrain at first, then I worked hard on making good sight lines to balance vehicle/spartan combat. This is my first contest entry and I'll be working hard to improve for the next contest!
  3. Hi folks! I wanted to pop open the lid on this discussion, as there seems to be little or confusing discussion around this topic. I personally do NOT currently know how to create deep shadows or very dark spaces on maps. I have a map concept that is being built on the Alpine base map. It requires me to create areas that have no light except for a candle or flashlight here and there. Not the whole map, mind you, because much of the action can also happen outside. So I put it to you, the Forging Community, to help myself, and others, come up with some creative solutions! Have at it!
  4. This is a large map with organic pathways to keep the gameplay different depending on where you find your enemy. Each area is extremely different, so you won't get disoriented on any part of the map. I wanted to make it seem totally natural and used care when placing scenery. It is set up for BTB Strongholds and Assault Screenshots
  5. Map Name: Blaze Cave Game Type: Blaze Cave Game Size True fully fun with: 2-16 players. This map is pretty simple you have a kill ball and you have people and concussion rifles and you can't move. This seems simple but the funny thing is its to much fun after every 20 seconds another kill ball will appear in the arena. The trick is the only way to kill your opponents is with the Kill balls. So good luck. O and there's land mines and grave lifts around the arena to keep the kill balls moving. i came up with this concept in a day and made it in two, it is to perfection and is acceptable for any size lobby. If it is with 2 player or 16 i had just as much fun as with both so please consider it. Clips TheBlitzBroz TheHaloForgeLeague CrazyConeClan iSpiteful
  6. 1. Gamer Tag: CrimsonVolver 2. Map name: Sanctorium 3. No special gametypes. I tried to make Griffball work like Assault, but it's fixed to only Griffball settings (see my sad face?) Map supports all gametypes but Dominion and Griffball 4. This map is good for 2v2, 3v3, or 2v2v2 multiteam (Red, Blue, Green), FFA and Fiesta. You could try flood or 4v4 on it, but I am not sure how that would go as it is a relatively small map. The map is a spiraling cave built inside the belly of the small island on Forge Island. There are three rooms, (Blue, Green, Red) with Green at the center/mid location; Blue/Red each have two ways to get in/out, and Green room has two main ways in/out, as well as two other means to get in or out. Because of the small size I was able to do some fun and interesting aesthetics to compliment the overall theme. I am providing 5 screenshots, and when my friend Liamevanspro gets the opportunity to make a video or either gameplay or a fly through I will post that to the thread, as well as screenshots from future gamplay.
