  1. My internet was taking a little bit to connect the server and then when in the game lost connection couple times. When connection was established and strong, in game for a few minutes I was then banned twice in a row. I violated nothing to get banned. I am a huge Halo fan and don't want to walk away from Halo but wtf man. This is getting ridiculous because there's nothing wrong with my internet. No other game has an issue connecting, just Halo.
  2. I got banned for leaving matches early, but the only reason I am leaving matches early is because I have weekly challenges specific to certain game modes, with limited amount of time to play. Example, and reason for ban. I had to complete 1 oddball match. I played for 2 1/2 hours, without seeing a single oddball match, had 3 capture the flags, followed by 6 slayers, followed by 2 strongholds. Then decided, ok, ill play a tac slayer, play 2 of those jumped back into quick play to another 2 slayers. I left those. then 2 strongholds. I also left those. Basically what Im getting at is, if you're going to make challenges specific to certain game modes, then you should be able to, 1:either leave the match without repercussions, or 2:have dedicated game mode playlists. I have literally only friday nights to get these challenges done, and man....I get close to finishing the weeklys every friday, but if you're going to make game mode specific challenges and then ban players because they get 10 plus matches they don't need and they leave early is a little unfair. Please make playlist for game modes. I understand, if you do that population in other modes will go down, if so, then don't make game mode specific challenges. Thank you, I enjoy the game, don't get me wrong. Just jilted I guess
  3. It’d be great if I would quit getting banned for the being booted out of games. Its not even ranked, but still it’s not like I’m backing out. The game drops me.
  4. So I got banned until 2552 yesterday. The reason? posting criticism about Warzone and the game-wide connection problems that have come with the Christmas n00bs. Of course, I get a message saying I got perma banned by of course, Snickerdoodle. I thought this must have been a mistake. So I did some research and apparently this mod is pretty busy banning people. With my research I've been noticing a pattern, they all claim they had post gripes and criticisms about H5. So apparently we have a fangirl mod who is abusing her power and banning people who won't bow down to the one and only true god 343. This needs to be stopped, but I don't know how to get around the ban and get her mod powers revoked. I assume this is a little more chill forum, so I'm free to post gripes. Here's some screen grabs. Feel free to post your snickerdoodle stories as well. Sure some of ya'll have 'em. .
  5. Hello! My name is Arkanagos, as you can tell from the account, and i am brand new to the forums. I ran into this site while i was looking for a new Halo community as i've become another victim of those lovely Monitors over at Waypoint abusing there power. Long story short someone makes a topic regarding a monitors decision, i reply telling them that posting about monitor decisions are against the rules and then I'm banned until 2552 for posting about moderation decisions. I've appealed the ban but still no reply. Anyway that's enough of the past. Here's hoping i have a much better time here lol! Thankyou for your time Arkanagos
  6. Okay, so I was playing Big Team Battle and I was doing well. I had sniper and was perched up high with a great view. Could not get better. I see sniper was going to spawn soon so I rush over to it and wait the last remaining seconds for the ammo. Well, my teammate kills me for it and gets away with the sniper and my spree. Throughout the game we face off as enemys until I boot him for repeated betrayal. After the match my game closes and boots me to my dashboard. I open Halo 5 only to find out im banned from ALL matchmaking. Arena, Warzone, Forge, Custom Games, and even CO-OP was restricted. Only the words "At least one member in your fireteam is not permitted to play multiplayer games" are available when I load Halo 5. I DO NOT quit, betray, or do any other unjust actions while playing Halo 5. I play fair and have played fair since Halo CE. Halo is the greatest game ever and I play with some of the greatest players ever (FaZe lKampy) Please respond and tell me how I could possibly get my account UNBANNED!!!! Thank you!
  7. Hello, I don't know if this the right place to post this but I just want to know if this is happening to anyone else. Okay so I was playing arena and for no reason when I'm winning the match I get kicked out of the game out of nowhere then after a couple times of trying to play and getting kicked out of the match a lot of times I got banned for 8 hours. I'm never quit and I have a perfect internet connection. I can play warzone with no problem, and I can play with friends like nothing but when I play arena it just sends me back to the menu like wtf.
  8. Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum. I know this isn't an "official" 343i forum, just a fan made community (correct me if I'm wrong), but I was apparently banned from the official Waypoint forums, and I'm not sure why... I am unable to post anything and unable to make any topics on there, the buttons to create new posts aren't there anymore. When I look at my Waypoint profile (click here to see my profile), it says this: So I took a look at the Halo Waypoint Forum Ban FAQ topic (here) and it says when you get banned: I was never "greeted" with the message they're talking about, and I don't have a message from a moderator saying why I was banned. I also never got an email or anything from them so I really have no clue whatsoever why I was banned, and like I said above, on my Waypoint profile it says I was suspended due to "other" until the year 2552 (Wtf? lol). Anyone here have any experiences like this? Has anyone here ever been unbanned from Waypoint? I would appreciate any advice. I'll stick around here though (I just found this forum). This forum seems a bit more mature and level-headed compared to the people on Waypoint anyways lol. Thanks!
  9. Even though we lost this one I've completed 3 commedations this match and then this happens: I can consider myself a patient player rather than a quitting one, because even after this problem that occurs every single time I play Arena, I keep trying to play. This has been happening throughout january, thats why the ban time has been build up to 7 days. Even on my birthday when I thought I was going to play a few matches with my friends I also got banned, thank you 343.... After contacting my provider and microsoft, forwarding ports and asking for help on forums it's confirmed to me it's not my connection. I'm getting little to no help, but I still want to bring out the word. I know for a fact that there are a lot of players out there that have been through this and need some help like me. Here are two other videos out of the uncountable times this happened. Can somebody also explain to me how you can get banned for quitting a campaign mission? The same also happen when I played a match of warzone, I get banned In arena which I did not even play. I'm clueless. - -
  10. Hello fellow Halo fans, I'm getting banned by the loss of my connection to the server, when nothing seems to be wrong with my internet connection after having had contact with my internet provider. Because I never had with any other games, issues like this, it seems unlikely to me its my internet, it's an open NAT-type (See video please). This problem will find themselves virtually almost always after a played match and therefore I must sometimes wait inbetween matches for a period of time because I am afraid to be banned again. (not sure if that helped) It is therefore unfortunate that halo 5 can not distinguish between dropping out of the match or connection loss. The ban is becoming longer and longer and am afraid for my xbox live reputation / account. I've recently also got myself banned because of ending a campaign mission, how is that even possible? (see here: campaign ban) I've been posting and calling around everywhere, but get little to no help. I need help with this issue and I do not mean the xbox live support help page that makes me none the wiser. Let's hope this problem will get more attention when it gets around. Thanks in advance. Sincerely, JxGlenn Video Link 1 Video Link 2

My x box live account had a message pop up during a game of griffball stating that I was temporarily banned from earning credits, I was wondering as to why, and if there was anything I could do to lift this bann, I love playing halo and I hate cheaters and I would never try to boost points or try to trick the system, please 343 industries help me get this credit bann lifted so I can continue playing halo reach, and if there is anything I can do to get this lifted or prove myself to you please let me know THANK YOU FOR READING Also forgot to mention that my gamer tag is, A Body Piercer Also forgot to mention that my gamer tag is, A Body Piercer
  13. Battlefield 4 has been banned in China after the release of the China Rising DLC. According to Techie News, the Chinese Government accused EA, Published of Battlefield, of creating a form of cultural invasion. China Rising is Battlefield 4's first expansion. Set on the Chinese mainland, it contains new maps, modes, vehicles, assignments, and weapons and follows the fictional story of Admiral Chang, who wants to overthrow the government. With the release, China's Ministry of Culture wants to ban all forms of Battlefield 4, and plans to prohibit the sale of physical copies of the game and all related downloads, demos, patches, and news. News site PCGames.com reports BF4 has been characterized as illegal on the grounds that it "endangers national security and cultural aggression." Electronic Arts declined to comment on the matter, but considering it doesn't sell Battlefield 4 in China, the ruling might not come to matter too much. What is troubling for the company is the delay of the DLC where the game isn't banned. In a recent comment to IGN regarding the delay of the China Rising DLC, EA said, "We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel your pain. We will not stop until this is right." 14. You gave me the standard 60 minute ban for quitting. The only reason I have to quit so much is because your developing team failed to design an algorithm that introduces new players into the match after the original ones of quit. This forces me to play uneven matches (5v3, 5v2, 5v1, etc.) that result in vicious loops of me getting killed as soon as I spawn. How is this fun? How is this suppose to be enjoyable? How can you call it a game when its 5 on 2 and the other team has a monopoly on vehicles. Please fix this problem or get rid of your silly ban.

  16. So, my wife and I were playing Halo 4 this afternoon. Had an intense game of Richocet on Adrift. After the game, I get a message saying I was banned. Excuse me. Why? After exiting the game and restarting, I find it was because we quit to many games and the ban is for 60 minutes. 343, let me give you some advice. I've been playing Halo since the first one came out. I've never cheated or modded my box, never been banned for cheating then started a new Live account, unlike about... what, half the players remaining in this game. My wife and I can't seem to sit down to play Halo these days without 2 out of 3 games being filled with cheaters who glitch the game out or jerks who kill their own team members. And I'm the one who gets banned? Did you ever think people are quitting too many games because too many games are full of cheaters? So instead of doing something about the cheaters, you give loyal non-cheating players a hard time. Nice business model there. Good luck with that. Think I'll go play some Battlefield 4. --DethBob
  17. I've been Perm Banned on my Halo 3 Files Share System. Staff Response This is a fan forum. The official site is halowaypoint.com but I do not suggest you post your personal info their either. I've removed your personal information to protect you, and wish you luck with removing your ban. -The Director
  18. First of all, don't reply to this unless you have something helpful to say or actually have the power to do something to help. I don't need "boy genius" rebuttals based on opinion. "hey man, the game got a high score on duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh.". Save it, I spent (and continue to spend) good money here, I have a right to complain if I wish. There are some things on my mind that we need to have a little chat about, these things have caused me to not even want to play the game anymore. I'll list them in numbered order and below that I'll go into further detail. 1. My account has been banned from using voice communications for apparently no reason and for too long. 2. My loadouts keep getting reset. 3. You added Team Snipers for only a week? 4. You sell early access to an add-on map pack on the first day the game comes out. 5. The map selection is.... terrible. 6. You drove level progression as a new system while capping xp and not allowing people to level past 70 (unless they bought limited edition) until today. 7. Perfections not showing up. Okay addressing Number 1, as stated I have been banned from voice communications for [insert explanation here]. I received a notification of this about 10 minutes after a big team match. I have absolutely no idea what I did wrong. Also the pop-up said that I was banned for a week and it's been much longer than that. Needless to say I WANT IT BACK. Number 2! The loadouts.... uuuuugh the loadouts... I customize them perfectly for my use in ever-changing "battle situations", but yea they seem to reset just about every other time I get on. Number 3, this is stupid, it was a popular one! You're effing Microsoft for goodness sake. If Bungie was able to afford to have this as a game type all the time then why can't you? Pick something badass and stick with it, this is what grows great expectations of a business... consistency. DERP. Number 4, I've never seen a game so blatantly putting money first. Right from the get go this was apparent with the ad for the purchase of a future map pack popping up right when I put the game in for the first time. Now don't get me wrong, as an avid gamer I know that add-on content is to be expected, not only does it ad things like "replayability" for the consumer but also hikes profits for the developer/publisher. But it shouldn't be like this, "Oh now that you bought the game, you should buy something else...". Number 5, this one kind of ties into number four. You could have included those maps, but you decided to sell them separately instead. Thanks a lot. Number 6, this was a big one for not only me, but all of the friends that I gamed with from day one. Bought the game, some dew, doritos, (for dub xp and munchies) did some war games, spartan ops... Here I am on the 21st at level 70 not able to go anywhere. Guess what I did... Played Starcraft 2 instead. Would have rather used your product (play Halo) but I had to wait 9 days so I didn't waste my time furthering my commendations without receiving the xp from them. Number 7, not as big of a deal right now, but I've had at least 2 perfections (games with 15 kills or over and no deaths) that should have been counted but didn't show up in the commendations, this was right after I reached level 70. So ya might wanna get that system checked. End.
  19. So two days ago, I hit the level cap for players who didn't buy the Legendary Edition (70) and have continued playing regardless. I was playing Slayer Pro on Solace about 15 minutes ago and halfway through the game I received a message saying that I have been banned from Matchmaking for 7 days. I have never once in my life cheated, I never did the "Complex Glitch" people are talking about, I've never "boosted a challenge", and I never once changed my timezone or whatever it was people were talking about. It's not going to be the end of the world for me if I don't get out of this completely random ban, but I'd really like to know why I was banned in the first place. I spent $60 on the game to play matchmaking with my friends after all. =p For reference, my gamertag is AymacK. Any guidance, explanation, or suggestions would be very greatly appreciated(:
  20. Hey 343, I was playing flood today on Halo 4 with two of my friends as guests and the game told me that I was banned from gaining xp I am not a hacker, but I was in first and some one was raging on me and I killed him twice (fairly) and that happened!! Microsoft support told me to come here and plead my case. Could you please tell me what I did? And if I was wrongly banned could you please fix it? Thank you, Ukna999 P.s how long does the ban last?
  21. i got banned off halo 4 multiplayer and i want to know why. please moderator or administrator help me please.
  22. I see that a lot of you are asking why am I banned from achievements, credits, or matchmaking. Since we are just a community run forum we can not help you with this problem, but we can point you in the right direction for answers. You will need to go halo.xbox.com. That is the place where you can maybe get a answer for why you have been banned. If you do not want to go there I will provide you with some reasons to why you might be having these problems. Types of violation include, but are not limited to, the following example actions: • Manipulating network conditions to give yourself an advantage, or to the detriment of the experience for other players. • Modifying your Xbox 360 hardware or game software and services in any way. • Skill, EXP, or Credit Boosting, deleveling, idling through games, cheating, habitual quitting or any other type of unsociable and unsportsmanlike behavior. • Impersonating a Bungie, 343, or Microsoft employee on Xbox LIVE with intent to defraud or cause harm to other players. The following things will NOT result in a visit from the Banhammer: • Lag (poor or intermittent network performance). • Occasional disconnects due to inconsistent network conditions. (Please note that while this process is automated, it is accurate. Bans are almost certainly legitimate, and will stay in force for their stated duration. To keep your matchmaking privileges in good standing, immediately cease any unsociable behavior and wait out the ban. Either way, there will be no response communication from this process.) Below are some sample questions and answers: I shouldn't be banned. My brother/sister/cousin/dad/mom/friend must've logged on with my account and done bad things. Will you please reverse my ban? If this is indeed the case, we do understand your frustration. However, it is your sole responsibility to keep your account information secure and not share it with others who would abuse it. We have no way of detecting who is playing with your account, and if your gamertag is caught making naughty, you will be banned. Those are the rules. I didn't do anything wrong, and you can't prove it. Will you please reverse my ban? No. Like it says above, our automated system builds up a digital case of wrongdoing before any ban is enacted. If you accidentally disconnect a time or two, you won't get banned. Instead the system looks for patterns that can't happen accidentally. If the banhammer detects enough wrongdoing, you were doing wrong. Case closed. All of this has been pulled directly from halo.xbox.com. I hope this helps :3
  23. I have an issue with the fact that when trying to register a complaint, you get the run around and ultimately no real definite solution. Case in point; the short version is that , I was playing Reach with my friends when after attempting to load a map for the 2 to 3rd time I was kicked out of the match with a warning, stating that I quit too many games. My friends and family are usually waiting on me to eat dinner, go somewhere, or whatever the case be, I never, let me be perfectly clear that you understand this, NEVER EVER quit a game when i'm playing REACH; NEVER!! They will wait or go without me. Getting back to my problem. I did say long story short, so, the problem was a hair line fracture starting from the center circle on my disk to about a quarter of the way out. I verified this with my friends disk and, there was no more load failures. Now, I understand that the penalties are in place for people who abuse the system, but mine was a circumstance beyond my control. Had I know that there was a hair line fracture in my disk, I would have simple bought another one and problem solved. But this didn't come to light until I got a disk error message, and cleaned my disk and found the crack. The problem is I have talked to Xbox, Bungie, and now posting my disdain with 343 industries, on the fact that I cannot get anyone to remove the ban on my account that is not rightfully warranted. Regards, Pointman 585635
  24. So just recently I got credit banned while playing firefight score attack... I am playing by myself. Can I please get some help on this? How do I get this reset so I can continue? My gt is j7ne7es7
  25. Hello, My friend was playing Halo Reach, he just got the game yesterday the 12th (yes new to halo) And just today or now 11:53 he was temporarily banned from match making due to quitting and skill. Yes I understand the quitting part but he's only made it to Warrent Officer Grade 2 and he's been banned for skill. But I guess he does somewhat deserve it for quitting. (I hate quitters) But him and myself do not understand the skill part. I think Bungie or 343 one of the two should have made the temp. ban more complicated so it can tell if a player is new to halo and what not. But that's my opinion. His Gamertag is: SwAGG SWiFT
